It had a lot of signal drops. I'll approve it momentarily.

'twas hoping to ride myself yesterday, but essentially collapsed into bed as soon as I got home, only getting up to interact with the kids, then right back to bed. Note to self, never schedule a 6am flight back home from the east coast again. It works out to getting my day started at 2am in my normal timezone. Expecting to knock out a session or two tonight.
And start cruising through the first ride in the moose league and snap, gear cable is toast.

Off to the bike shop tomorrow to pick up a new one. Doubt I'll be able to ride tomorrow though, existing plans with the family...

I'm a possibility, watching the weather and trying to decide on the club ride. Winter bike is ready, waterproofs ready, rider not so ready. If it pours with the expected rain in the next hour I might stay in and do the rerun, else it's 60 miles, 30 with a head wind and 30 with a tail wind.

Attention bkool techies... When I look up my results on a ride I'm the only one not showing cyclechat group by my name. Have I done something on my settings ?

Rick. If you don't fancy doing it again just do a dummy run and I'll fix it for you. Better to have your ride in the results than not. Same goes for everyone else.
Lo and behold it has appeared! Thanks for the offer Bill but it finally a through. Never seen that happen before!

Almost matched your watts getting 319 but nowhere near your time! Was pleased with what I got though.

I struggle to put in a good ride like that on consistent basis though. With the day after doing it being the bkool facebook race that you won, I was somewhat drained after that, and then after Thursdays Chaingang race I was near collapse point! So rather a tough week considering the low miles compared to usual. Probably should try to put in some more steady riding at 70% or so in between the races/league rides.

Sorry I haven't been on bkool trainer or this forum for a wee bit folks, but I've been Quite ill. I'm nearly back to rights now tho so I should be back and participating in the leagues very soon. All be it very slowly.

My first crack at the FTP test was 245 watts and I am 84 kg so I am no pro!

I guess my main concern is spinning out in my highest gear which would never happen on the road.
That's decent watts for your first FTP but at that weight you shouldn't be spinning out so easy on the flat. I'm the same weight and struggle to go flat out on the flat!
Does sound like there may be an issue but hard to say!

I see bkool are being their usual helpful selves to! Don't let them fob you off. You shouldn't be spinning out on the flat regardless of what they tell you.

Everyone welcome. No nasty long hill but the odd sharp kicker. Suitable for all.

Not sure what I've left in the legs though!
