Tonight's chaingang race

7pm warm up with race starting at approx 7:10pm

Look out for tour of Britain 2014 stage 3 under the live listings just after 7pm. If you can't find it use the advanced search function the bottom and search for 'rick' :hello:

There will be sweat... there will be pain. There may even be tears but I promise you this.... make it to the finish and you will be bestowed with untold riches and an enormous sense of wellbeing. (This may be a lie and the poster cannot be held liable for the lack of riches on completion of stage)

Rick, are you planning on disabling real weather for the group ride tonight? Looking outside, I don't think anyone would want to ride in that ... even if only a simulation!

Must remember to do that, thanks Geoff. Miserable outside so can do without it looking miserable on screen as well! ^_^

and even with your injuries you are much faster than me, dont rush back to full fitness will you :okay:

Kipster, doesn't seem to make any difference on bike as long as I don't commute. That seems to aggravate it while going on turbo is fine. No pain, a little discomfort but soon overwhelmed by lactate acid and breathlessness!. Its actually harder to get up to and down from the loft where the turbo is using a pull down ladder:wacko:

I'm sure you're well fed up with it all after all that.
What's the plan to try and solve the issues?
At present I have no choice but to stick to the iPad till I upgrade computer which will be some time off since I have bought a new Mtb and the Tacx Bushido plus some other smaller purchases lately. I had intended riding the Mtb through the winter but the injury has put that on hold hence the trainer.
I will have to move the router to my office to see if proximity will help enough, till the new computer if this isn't successful I will just have put the leagues on hold, may be a good thing with the injury in the short term.

At least I only climbed the hill at the end once ^_^ and on the bright side I got 60km of excersize even if it wasn't credited to me in Bkool.

Apologies for no ghosts tonight. Had a session with them added but it kept starting the session without warm up so had to abandon twice.

Was turning the weather function off too but it ignored that also. Non idea what was going on!!!

Could only get it working without ghosts.

wow, what an effort from Runar, Bill & Rick... massive kudos - hope my encourage helped !!!
It sure did Monte - I was toasted on the final climb but somehow just kept grinding it out. Think that ranks as one of the biggest efforts I've put in on Bkool.

Great race Bill Runar and Jonbon.

Now that was the closest to a proper race - We had to work together - no-one was going to solo that first section and survive. :hugs::hugs:

.......Oh and Bob :hello: :wahhey:

Huge effort from Runar - caught & passed both Rick & Bill on the final climb, awesome riding.

It was great to watch the three of you swapping the front of the chain gang

Had to let you go on the last flat in order to have some power up the hill. I don't think I have been that out of breath and exhausted on the Bkool before. I think I've pulled a muscle in my right calf as well.

But it sure was nice to catch you guys up that last hill :bicycle::hyper:

You deserved it man. I could only dream of holding on with a hill like that- Was pleased that I finish only a minute behind Bill! I have no answer when the Goats get going! :notworthy:

Hope your calf is ok. BTW
