First you have to create a Group then run leagues from the group. So think of the name you want to use then go to the bkool website and on your home page down the right hand side there is "Groups". From there, "Create a Group".
The whole process is quite easy but there's one or two pitfalls worth avoiding a bit further on in the process. We'll help you with that once you get to the point of creating the league within the group.
And when you add stages, use "create new session", rather than the "search" button to create your master session. For reasons unknown the former will allow users to add ghosts/bots via the procedure outlined several pages back while the latter will not.

Rick, any chance you can ok my stage 2 chaingang ride I did last night, not showing up in the league for some reason.
Did an early one as i'm not sure I'll be fit for thursday.. Mrs.B has man flu and has been coughing and sneezing all over the place the past few days so chances are, i'll be getting it soon!
Have approved Randys there but no sign of yours Jonbon. Looks like it's a classic case of Bkool delay. Will keep an eye out for it.

Think there may be a problem with the 'Marie Blanque' ride in the Moose league. I added it to my scheduled rides ok, but when I went into Bkool sim it wasn't there.Added it a few times, then it was doing my head in:wacko: Sorry for the confusion @Insomina , but we got a goat ride in instead^_^. @JLaw can you help please or any Moose's try it out. Hopefully I'm not doing anything wrong:huh:

3rd time lucky. :bicycle:^_^

At last completed CG Stage 1. Used the wife's laptop connected directly to a power line pluggie thing.

It wasn't without drama though as I got a 14% battery left message and I wouldn't have made it. I was shouting the wife but she had the TV on and couldn't hear. So I had to dismount (not a quick job at my age) and get the lead and another extension. There was cables everywhere

Lesson learnt - her battery only lasts about an hour when streaming.

Could someone please accept my ride and hopefully I will have recovered by Thursday, as that was hard.
I might stick with you on Thursday. Legs are tired so will use Thursday as a steady ride where I don't feel like vomiting when I get off the bike! xx( Looking at those who have already done the ride, I think 30 mins should be reasonable time for a Moose. Draft me up the hills, and I'll catapult you over the top :bicycle:

Anyone have an idea why I'm getting unrealistic speeds on my Vortex?

This summer. I did a fairly flat 15km Time Trial in 27 min 47. I uploaded this ride to Bkool this weekend and rode it tonight. I did it in 22 min 48.
http://www.bkool.com/bkoolSessionHistory/showSessionSummary?sessionSummaryId=1592744

I think my watts averaged 200 and my speed was over 39km/h. I noticed my cadence jumped from time to time to for no reason but my speed was consistent (consistently wrong..) .

Could it be that Bkool is really overplaying my weight? (I'm 89kg) I've also noticed that on anything over 3.5% gradient, I fail to see any difference.

Knowing that my data is wrong really takes the fun out of it. I've yet to try Zwift with my new trainer, might have to go check if it's more accurate.
I see that ride is in Cornwall. I rode the waterfront trail/ route verte a few years ago and it was great. I think it was the longest bike path I've ever seen. I went from Toronto to nova Scotia and took a ferry to Maine then down to Boston.

They have a beautifull bike path. The city was really before it's time when designing this bike path. That one hell of a ride you did there! How long did it take you?

Damn Ryan, I just got a few minutes there, patting my own back for being able to hold back a real mountain goat up a mountain. I must have made you mad...bettering my time by 3½ minutes :notworthy:.
And then comes Pro-Minator and beats your time.
AAAC 76C Pro-minator, a watt/kg rate like that puts you in pro continental category...do you race in real life?

Check you are up to date with the firmware which can be upgraded on your Vortex. Just a point on the gradients the Vortex gives a maximum of 7% but that is probably for a lower weight than 89kg that may be why it max's out at the 3.5%. The max 7% of the Vortex is why I went for the Bushido which has a 15% max

Firmware was up to date as of last Friday. I'll have a go at Zwift this weekend to see how it is with there program. Maybe it's my trainer that has issue but I doubt it.

According to this website, when I'm pulling 200 watts on the flat, my speed should be around 33km/h. Bkool is giving me 40km/h.
http://www.gribble.org/cycling/power_v_speed.html

When I did the TT this summer, this was roughly my average, 32-33km/h.

The gradient part I don't mind too much. I knew when I purchased it that it would be an issue, but not being a "fan" of going uphill, I didn't want to spend extra $$$ on something I hate doing.

I watched with interest as your ghosts tussled for the lead from a minute or two behind. I challenged you LB and Ryan was along for the ride and as you sped off I tried to hold off Ryan on the flattish part. For a while later on it really looked like his ghost would catch yours as the gap narrowed to 10 seconds or so but then you pulled away again nearer the top. Got a surprise when I finished though and saw Ryans new attempt and the massive improvement.:cycle:
Blown away when I saw AAAC's time though. Thursday should be interesting as AAAC will be joining us on the start line. :welcome:I just hope we can sling shot past him or find one of Randy's wormholes.
At this rate I might have to start choosing the Mountain Goat rides very carefully ;). You too Rick ;):thumbsup: :secret:

Also, would I be right in thinking that all this Tuesday night Goat activity is so everyone can get their day of rest in tomorrow?

What's your username Stefan? Can't see anything obvious that relates to your username here.

Got an email request for you to join the Goats (which you're now in! :okay:) - but nothing for Chaingang.

No problem, I'm not used to all these tactics, as there is normally no one near me during these torture sessions - drafting, wormholes and catapulting, what's that all about.

I think you better get an order in for some new brake pads if you plan on sticking with me.

See you on Thursday and looking forward to being catapulted, I think :wahhey:
