AAAC is going to take this one. 46.2 kph avg and 3 km to go.
Don't beleive BKool only gave me an 87% effort score for that. For those that have read my dits before if I wander above 162 bpm for to long I can blow up.
I went hell for leather up that short but difficult climb as I knew I could recover on the way down but the rest was just almost constant on power and my HR ended up at 165 and I get an 87% score!!.
I also realise looking at Jacobs and a few others stats that I am missing a trick going down hill and could gain some time doing some sprints.
Saying that I needed the break on the downhill side anyway to get my HR down before the long drags started.
PS. I was looking at the remants of by Pro Trainer spares today and realised that unlike the early classics with the black roller the roller spindle has a right hand thread on the right side looking forward (drive side of your bike).
I may be able to salvage the metal roller now and put it on my working trainer.
