I'm still Active 9 even though I took the FTP test 11 months ago...

I wonder if it is treated differently if your level is set from an FTP test or from a 30+ min ride?

What does it say on your profile fitness page?

Actually, I think with the Handicap races this should give less of an advantage.

As you spin up before joining the race (unless you sit on the start line) the resistance of the unit should be up to spec and you should enter the race at speed but with some resistance.

I recommend that everyone (apart from the 0:00 starters) join the session only when time underway reaches their Start Time, to avoid having time with no motion added to their elapsed time. In which case, you might as well do so while pedaling to start at a run?

What do you mean if you can catch me! (here comes the excuse) I've been working all day so not expecting great things tonight, It seems to make a difference if you spend all day working up to it slowly

I think you are starting 40 seconds ahead of me and that could be a very hard 40 seconds to make up. Did a goat league ride last night so not feeling so strong. I'll try my best though.

Not going to do the hadicap ride tonight

I am trying to get myself ready for thursdays . The pills should have cleared some of the junk out of my lungs. I'll just trundle along and get a feel for where I am in the recovery arc, probably nowhere .

I just need to get back to regular sessions again
