Hmm i feel I ought to support Gail in minding the villa while everyone else rides.... Wouldn't want you plagued by doorstep sellers or distracting views of the sea alone.....
And yes, we have got a caravan but what Add has failed to say is that he 'cleaned' it with the power washer and although he noticed water running down the inside of the windows he forgot to actually stop/ check/ dry it. Now it stinks like my great aunts wardrobe and I cant see any of us wanting to spend much time in it.
That, my dear, is strictly speaking.....true.
But it smelt pretty dam funky when we bought it. So can I put my tools in it then?

I remember it was a bit annoying, as if you did a really fast time, it was just below 30 minutes and so you didn't get the fitness level improvement.

One run I stopped a few yards from the end and watched the clock for a minute until it hit 30:00 and then crossed the line 1.9 seconds later, only to find I was 1 watt below what was needed for the next fitness level. :banghead:

Anyone below 3.5 W/Kg was over 30 minutes, so it will be interesting to see how it goes a year later, with the simulation changes. If Bill found it that much harder, it may be difficult for many others to get under 30 minutes.

How rude of me, I nearly forgot, would you like to borrow ours? Bring Febreze if you do.
That is very kind but at my age though I would be able to stay no longer than 24 hours as I now have more roughage in my diet.

Well I am hoping to have a crack at it Friday evening, it'll be my usual 8pm slot if anyone would like to join me, and provide Geoff with a baseline time for Tuesday's handicap race.
Might do that actually as I am allegedly representing the Soarerv8 parentage at parents evening tonight which may exclude a run at the chain gang ride.

ok ok who was it ! i know i am slow but today i received a letter from saga insurance for my twilight years ! i aint 50 yet - they don't muck about do they !!
Mrs Soarerv8 gets catalogues from all sorts of weird and beige companies who support the elderly even though she has just reluctantly fallen into her 40's. Can't for the life of me think how she got on their mailing lists.........

I just spent the last 37:09 chasing his ghost! I think I would have caught him if it weren't for the "unique" start that I get with my kickr. Geoff, that'll be the time you'll want to use for the handicap race next week.
What!
We are hindered going up hill as well?
I think Bkool is deliberately holding us back cos only proper cyclists use kickr s
Feeling victimized

Goldwolfie,

Great ride. 250 watts.

Thanks Randy - I did choose your slowest attempt up that hill and I noticed you'd done it a lot quicker. It was over 30 minutes but needed over 260 watts to reach the dizzy heights of Amateur 5 - it's all down to be a fat boy.

Geoff - It took me 36mins 45 secs which should probably be about right for me, but I won't be able to make Tuesday night, as I'll be at the footie.
