You looked to be doing OK from where I was ...

It is a shame the velodrome doesn't count. They only thing I could do would be to schedule a 10 mile flat session, but would that be as good?

It is good to have a mix of climbs and flats, to mix it up and play to different strengths.

Quite a bit of climbing this month, next months looks a bit less steep...

Geoff

The velo is good even if it doesn't count. Less steep, sound good to me

One thing I could do, is ensure that the session following the velodrome requires classification for everyone, and then adjust to add the velodrome time to the following session?

This is the greatest moment of my life :bicycle::bravo::cycle:

(Please no mention of elite trainers - allow me a few minutes of basking in glory at least  )

Good job Blueface. Have you been on the snickers and Ribena. I tried to come back at you at the end there but you just sped off :cycle:

Bill, your session is still a no show ... seems to be showing only a warm-up run from before the velodrome. Hopefully it will get there eventually.

Guy, still having problems approving ...

Rick, do you want adjusting (ooh er)?

I can get into a fast rhythm in the velo, fast spin and keep it there. Bill let me catch him, with a few laps remaining, then he sprinted off, only 2 seconds in it at the finish.

If it weren't for my new low friction tyre you would have destroyed me. As it happened I had the chance to try and set up a last minute sprint race. Not sure if you were ready or able at that point, whereas I'd had a bit of a rest by then.;)

I was aiming to sprint with two laps left, you went with three and caught me out.

On that last lap I was watching the time countdown to the end and the fast reducing time between me and you. I figured I would get away with it which I did only just.

Nice tactical game out front guys. I had a bit of fun with Geoff, after we finished chatting, it was all I could do to stop him double lapping me! Calf seems a lot better though, so I am going go hit the HITS as it were. Need to get up some spin speed. Can relax on the hill climbing a bit.
Good fun though folks! Thankyou.

Hi everyone
Hope you didn't mind me gate-crashing the session. Had my bkool a week and thrilled to find an English ride when I loaded up. You lot are very fit-doesn't help that I didn't warm up and had just eaten! Thought I was going to die.....
Jellybaby, welcome, we like to push and the Bkool gets you fitter. Join the leagues and fun, we generally meet up at 7pm every Thursday and ride the same ride on a Saturday at 5pm. The Bkool is too addictive.

Couldn't get into you Bkool profile, but noticed you have set up 'ride on nelly' as a route? Did you do the tour de test valley? I've done it the last two years, only the 50 miler, looking to do the 100 miler this year.

Hi Jellybaby, welcome aboard the good ship BKool Madness. The more the merrier. You are about to forge a long and loving relationship with that lump of black plastic, we all have.
Bill and Geoff have been sent to punish us, with their gruelling monthly choices of league runs, and for that, I am extremely grateful.
Your competitive muscle is about to get a good workout too Jellybaby!

Hey Kipster, you'll have to join Bill and I next time we attempt a live Goats run, you'll be an interesting spanner in the mix. Maybe the two of us can try and gang up, and topple King of the Hill Bill, although I doubt it. You are just getting stronger and stronger Bill, it's very motivating.
