I know what you mean about the scary LB. I was intimidated at first too, but decided to combat him with mind games. Try to make sure he gets bkool messages saying, "you have been beaten by Adski" on his home page. :evil:Draft his ghost the whole ride then go for it in the last minute. Not that I would do that of course,:whistle: but if you need to as a last resort:giggle:.

I'm not that scary...really:o)
Scary is the look on my 5 year old daughters face, when I ask her if she wants to see Flèche Wallonne, instead of Barbie on Netflix ^_^.

I'm not really sure about Bkool tomorrow. I've been given a golden opportunity to get out on the highway early and enjoy the last bit of sun before the weather turns.

Awwww LB!! I'll miss you if you're not there tomorrow. Mind you, its perhaps a good thing as my legs hurt a lot after my road ride last night and Alpe D'huez tonight. I might have to take it easy tomorrow.

Assuming there is a chain gang tomorrow.

Who's up for the Chain Gang tomorrow at 7pm then?

I might not be able to start the re-run on Saturday so if there's any interest then perhaps someone else can do the honours.

I can't make it for the race, but will put a run in before work tomorrow.

Sounds a bit addictive!
Thanks for the details. Heard similar stories about the way races pan out like that. Bound to be scary at first!

Some day...some day...

Yep race 2 tonight the beast is ready....:ninja:

Wish it wasn't so far to Mallory Park. Think I'll have to look for some local races as I'm getting a bit fed up of car dodging around the Richmond Park loop.

Bill, check out https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/e...only=0&online_entry_only=0&distance=&postcode= for any series local to you.

Looks like the Surrey League might be the one.

I did enter a season of National MTB races last year but the travel was the killer. I only made it to the first 3 events then gave up. The level was very high for fitness but just about okay technical wise. On my third trip (Wales) I had a puncture on the warm-up lap and missed the race. Whole days travel for nothing, so gave up.

Anyone fancy the local series known as the Chain Gang tonight? Local to your Man Cave
Legs are not 100% after todays local hill sprint session, but it was mostly the "stand-up" muscles taken a beating, so maybe there's still something left for a session with my butt glued firmly to the saddle.
I think I will have a go.
