top 20 from yesterdays Velodrome session- how did I beat Michael Gisler if his average power is more than mine and he weighs (much) less! Or Pinilla and Craig for that matter!!

Thanks for the info, i'm on for the hour challenge.
Every test I have made so far indicates that BKool algoritmen for calculating power is outputting too high numbers, so there should be a good chance of beating Wiggo (Pep would be riding along with Contandor in the Tour if those numbers were true).

I think you just had more draft.

Good point. I did try on 2 or 3 occasions to tuck in behind a faster person but it was very short lived and didnt seem to be making much of a difference, but yes, that must be the answer!

Rick & Monte, we could try to do a bit of drafting together to try and get an advantage at least at the start as we'll be fairly closely matched. :hugs::cheers: :highfive: Lars, you'll be too quick for us :notworthy: I would think unless you're planning to keep a lot in reserve for a second half dash.

Sounds like a plan though I fear I may be the weak link out of the three of us! Worth a shot though! :okay:

Just raced the Craig Harrison event https://www.facebook.com/events/461135724061968/ and managed a 2. place.

I have a faulty front derailleur, and lost time the 4-5 times the ascend was getting more than 8%. Not 36 seconds though, which was the time diff. to first place.
Great result Lars! I knew you wont let us down! :notworthy: Was there many in the event? Seemed like a good course but I really wanted to get out on the road yesterday evening as the sun was shining (and that doesnt happen too often here in NI).

Rick, you might be making more power than me these days, and even though you weigh more that may well work for you in the velodrome. I'll be happy if I can keep up. I peaked in April and have lost a lot of fitness since then. My plan is to get seriously back into the bkool in the autumn when its cooler and my hands have recovered. Hopefully both our leagues will be back up and running too:smile:
