Ha, I just found out that I'm featuring in the video of Tuesdays event "En forårsdag i Hell-singør 2013 del 1/2". I pop up now and then between 1.5 - 2.5 km, on a white Canyon (my commute bike) wearing a blue jacket.
This was a very tough race with some tough riders: a former TDF rider and elite riders. I got dumped after a few km when we hit the cobblestones in the woods.

Had bkool connect to my pic today. They could not fix my problem, of the rpm jumping about all over the place. They said I was on old firmware, but the unit would not allow them to update it. Just waiting to hear from them via email to see how I go about swapping the unit for new. If you have any niggles in your mind that something ain't quite right, call bkool and they can check it out through your computer. They been very helpful so far, just hope I don't have to wait to long for replacement, and they do it by posting one and collecting old at same time.

I have exactly that problem although it hasn't effected the fun I've had. I do wonder if I should get it swapped out before its warrantee runs out though. I am on old firmware and it will not update.

Is the cadence not all over the place for a lot of people? Mine is too and like Bill says it doesn't affect the enjoyment. I thought it was something they were working on for the next upgrade?

After the last upgrade my power seems more even-higher on level and lower on hills. And my cadence is right on. But I seldom spin I'm more of a masher. If it uses power fluctuations on each revolution then mine would be very obvious. Anybody remember Biopace chain rings? That's probably what my power looks like.

I can't find a phone-number on the website.
When you drop them an email it takes them hours to respond.

Sorry I meant email them., things must of changed because I get replys within 2 hours. And have done for last week. Also rang me today bang on 12.30 to try and sort the problem remotely.

Surely you want a unit that can have a firmware update, as we don't know what they might improve in the future. The numbers all over the place might not affect enjoyment, but it shouldn't be doing it according to bkool.
I'm just waiting on Evans cycles to send me a new risistant unit now and take the broken one away.

Btw, I just challenged Pinilla on the Titch Hill, and something is definitely wrong with his attempt. From the start I stayed on his tail, but quite early he suddenly jumped 1- 1½ minute ahead, and I ended up chasing you instead.

I just raced the two of you and experienced exactly the same. Near the beginning Pinilla was behind me and then suddenly he was 1-1.5 mins ahead. I more or less gave up on him and concentrated on trying to stay ahead of you which near killed me by the end.

I rode part 2 of that on Bkool last January and remembered it seemed like a crazy race. Everyone is flying. On one steep part guys were jumping off and pushing their bikes. I felt good because I didn't have to get off and push mine.

Yes, I remember that that part, coming from the coast road going in country again. A very steep bike path where it is important to be first: If you don't have the legs, you can go slow and there's no room for others to pass. If you have the legs, you won't be slowed down by others. But the worst part is actually the gravel and forest paths. They just suck the energy out of you. And hitting the cobblestones in the woods (really don't know why anyone would lay those in the middle of the woods) feels like riding into a wall.
Lucky for us, we won't have this to deal with in the BKool race.

Yeah, Rick is right. We are like two caveman bashing it out :B).

Apart from that, we really have our work cut out for us, catching Pinilla, if he keeps on wormholing through the races.

I passed you at about mile 1.7. This is a big day for me - passing Lars in a race. Also I'm in first place at this time.(I'm the only one who has ridden it in the summer cup so far)
