I just found Bill S in that league so I'm guessing that is the one.
Hope you guys don't get sick of me,but......
I keep a record of my rides on strava, can I export these rides to it?

If you've got a premium subscription you can export the ride as a .fit file and import that to Strava. I remember seeing something about linking Bkool and Strava like you do with garmin, but may have dreamt that (I've been neglecting my Bkool of late and riding on Tarmac! So not really keeping up to date with everything). There is also a Strava Bkool cyclechat group, join it as we're a nosey bunch. https://www.strava.com/clubs/Bkool-cyclechat

Edit: found on the Bkool blog.....New features in Bkool. Bkool can now connect with Strava! From the moment you connect both accounts, all activities you perform in any of the two platforms will be synchronized automatically .

    • I just emailed Bkool about my Percorso Monguzzo - Lurago d'Erba results. It shows me just 2 minutes ahead of Lars and I think I should be way ahead of him. Actually it shows me with a 36 mph average and I never even hit 36 mph. I did have a server drop out during the ride which is rare for me. Maybe that caused the anomaly.
I was wondering when you would find out ^_^
Looks good in the rankings though - fastest time ever :notworthy:

I have been wasting some time, trying to analyze the Summer Cup results so far (Yeah I know, I should have better things to do, but I'm on vacation stuck at home in shitty weather with two kids glued to their iPads):

Pep Tatche is just in a league of his own. His BKool numbers puts him in world class international pro category, but we all know by now that BKool is a bit too kind to us.
His real life time on Sa calobra (Mallorca's toughest climb) is so close to Simon Yates that he propably has power enough to be a domestic pro.
fmpando looks pretty safe in second place while I think JacobSkovsgaard (the unofficial danish BKool champ) and J.MONTESINOS will battle it out for third place. J.MONTESINOS is by far the supperior climber of the two, but I don't think there's enough climb km's in the Summer Cup stages for that to shine through.

The battle for 5th place looks very interesting. I see Bill S, Corby, Julio, Olvin, Pinilla150cv, valerator, Scott and Riis and myself, all with a good chance of taking that.

Rick, Randy Bobinski and Monte (did I forget someone?), have you pinpointed your direct opponents?

Unfortunately I can't get into the bkool any more than a normal turbo. Too late to return for a refund now so I am going to sell it. It's a bkool pro, used a handful of times in as new condition with all packaging. It came with a years free premium which I could most likely transfer across by changing login details. Message me if interested.

Totally agree with this, but I see Adam Robinson is back with us and he would probably be challenging for second or third place if he goes for it. But yeah, battling for 5th/6th place will be where it's at for us, and I'm going to have to pull the finger out to stay in that battle.

What's the secret in updating firmware in the pro ! How long does it take if you're successful? Does the latest firmware make any difference? I've tried twice with my laptop next to the base unit but given up after about 15 minutes :-/ .

Sorry to hear that Blazed - Bkool do make it hard on themselves to get with the machine. Have to say I'm surprised that you dont find it better than a normal trainer. I couldnt last 5 minutes on a normal turbo. Trust you get a buyer for it though.

I dont think mine has ever updated the firmware - not that I've noticed anyway. The Bsim software updates occasionally but thats all. Is your Pro working ok at the minute?

Hi , I'm new to this site but saw your message, I had the same problem when putting my laptop
next to the base unit but after buying a USB extension lead and then placing it next to the base it
updated first time, not sure what difference it made tho, now using the extension cable the system
does seem more accurate tho, hope this helps.

It's working fine just keeps saying "new firmware available for trainer" when I connect each time so thought I should do it .I will try a usb extention lead see if that works. The only thing I can see that's a bit iffy is the cadence jumps about a bit ,can't see how it works it out with out a signal from my crank must best guess It I suppose!

Ah right. I've had mine for a while and never had to update the firmware, sorry.

Cadence is all over the place as standard - they say they are working on a fix for this. Like you say, it only a guess as there's no signal from the crank. Not a deal breaker by any means.
