I have been wasting some time, trying to analyze the Summer Cup results so far (Yeah I know, I should have better things to do, but I'm on vacation stuck at home in shitty weather with two kids glued to their iPads):

Pep Tatche is just in a league of his own. His BKool numbers puts him in world class international pro category, but we all know by now that BKool is a bit too kind to us.
His real life time on Sa calobra (Mallorca's toughest climb) is so close to Simon Yates that he propably has power enough to be a domestic pro.
fmpando looks pretty safe in second place while I think JacobSkovsgaard (the unofficial danish BKool champ) and J.MONTESINOS will battle it out for third place. J.MONTESINOS is by far the supperior climber of the two, but I don't think there's enough climb km's in the Summer Cup stages for that to shine through.

The battle for 5th place looks very interesting. I see Bill S, Corby, Julio, Olvin, Pinilla150cv, valerator, Scott and Riis and myself, all with a good chance of taking that.

Rick, Randy Bobinski and Monte (did I forget someone?), have you pinpointed your direct opponents?

Nahh, I am too busy feeling sore and a little sorry for myself whilst recovering from a slightly longer than 24h London to Paris in what were pretty horrible conditions. 2 riding colleagues both fell a little ill from the wet and cold. They simply didn't have the energy and couldn't ride fast enough to keep warm. Seeing your companions ashen faced and shaking with 45 miles to go is a little disconcerting. Mind you i think the Bkool training i have been doing helped me ( wonders off to have a look for direct competitor having taken opportunity to drop in L2P ride...)

Just looked in on the scheduled bkool group session tonight - I've got to say the leader Manual something ? his stats were all over the place and call me a scenic if you want but I do not believe his watts output for one minute #bullshit...

Seemed to be something wrong with the race tonight - I joined just started warming up - looked down and few seconds and when I looked up again it had started - so off I go and then people were jumping in and out allover the place with riders disappearing constantly - I quit and rejoined again but still riders were jumping backwards and forwards all session - had a good session myself but a bit off puting when you dont really know where you stand exactly!

Do you mean Olvin? I think something went wrong with his session.

J.MONTESINOS will battle it out for third place. J.MONTESINOS is by far the superior climber of the two, but I don't think there's enough climb km's in the Summer Cup stages for that to shine through.

Totally fluffed the start on tonight's race (twice) so everyone was long gone by the time I left the line. No sign of you guys in the race either so I think I was probably in the wrong session. Anyway gave up and challenged J.MONTESINOS on the TDF 2015 S18 instead. I had a good lead on him before we hit the hill but then he just destroyed me. Passed me like I was standing still!!! So yeah. Superior climber he is most definitely. On the plus side I knocked over a minute off my time:whistle:

Bill, I asked you about the "Time Improved" rule because I filed it as a bug that the number is always a positive number (time improved in ms). The response was pretty lame, and it's obvious that the person answering is a "shield" between us and the programmers. I only hope we're getting through:

Hi L,

Thanks for your message. When the time is actually improved, the time in miliseconds reading should be negative compared to the previous one, hence the <=0.

See you at Bkool

Well my bkool pro has gone back. The cadence and rpm should not be all over the place, I had bkool doing remote access on mine and sent them a video clip and said it should not be doing it. They did not mention that it would be fixed with a firmware update. Just said send it back its faulty. They need to get on top of this, as users don't know what's right and what's wrong. If there is not a set standard on all bkools then the races /times etc are never gonna be correct,

Rick - how do I register myself in the cyclechat group in the summer league. I did my second stage this evening but I'm not registering as a cyclechat group.

I wore a power tap heart rate/power strap this evening and I will say my power output was a lot lower than normal but if I was being honest I think the power tap readings were probably more accurate ?

Could you report back if you get it working please.
cheers
Ok so I can confirm that the Garmin cadence sensor works and seems to gives a correct stable readout.Manually search for sensors on Simulator ,press the small white soft button on side of the Garmin cadence sensor unit so it lights up red ,turn the crank so it flashes with every rotation, Sim should pick it up ,then tick the box on screen.Plus I just tried a 1m USB extention lead for the ANT+ dongle on my laptop and my trainer updated its firmware in less than 1 minute ! Happy days :-)

I don't know if it makes a difference, but which garmin?(cadence) are you using? I have the garmin edge 500 and have a cadence sensor that goes with that, I'm not sure if this one will work?
