Getting a new unit sent out to me.You all fixed now?
Damned Bill, you were not in the Como provins, you crushed me on my home turfI also challenged fmpando today and failed. He's a bit too fast although he did let me keep up for the first half.
And if there's much of a hill too go up don't even think about challenging MONTESINOS.![]()
Since the summer break, two of the participants upgraded their stats to "Danish female time trial champ" and "male U17 olympic time trial champ".
I can keep up with the first mentioned, but the second...forget it. He's just too strong.
I think we span the whole palette, so don't worryI've got a feeling your all in a different league to me![]()
Sounds like you're off to a cracking start. Pretty freaky that your ride times were identical compared to the real world. I think overall bkool makes things a bit easier than real life but not much in it sometimes (as you've found out!) Don't worry about abilities. I started as an amateur 3 last November and have been climbing the rankings since. We all have to start somewhere!!Received my trainer today
Big thanks to Wiggle.
I thought I'd try a route I uploaded and have done outside quite a few times before to see how accurate the trainer was with regard difficulty and time and so on.
It's very difficult to believe but, It usually takes me around 2 hr 12 mins on average. And guess what, I did it in 2 hr 12 mins!!!!!!
How is that possible that the trainer is that accurate, unbelievable!!!
All in all, I'm very pleased with it.
Garmin cadence sensor connected no problem.
A Big fan definitely was a must tho thank you.
Loads of sweat, so the cheap yoga mat was also a good buy.
USB extension in place.
Firmware updated at start.
Everything worked a treat.
So, A big thanks for all your help guys, it is appreciated.
I'm looking forward to joining you guys on some rides or atleast riding against your times.

You sat on the trainer for 2 h and 12 mins on your first ride?!?
I would need a Henry 8th style winch to get me off if I did the same![]()
lmao
I did have to get off about halfway through to refill my water bottle and open the window and door to let some cooler air circulate. The room gets way hotter than I ever imagined.
Question....
I done a few rides now and one of them was just a short one in the bkool summer cup/league.
As an example, it showed that Bill had prviously rode that route.
But when I was riding it, it didn't show anyone else ghost(if thats the correct term) for me to try and keep up with.
Is it possible to ride against other peoples previous rides/ghosts?
If so, how do I turn that option on?
Hi Hazie did you set up the session first on the bkool website or did you do the session
by using the live option on the bkool indoor, if you use the website you can go to sessions
and find the route you want to do (which could be easier said than done!!) and set up the
session in which you can add ghosts (other riders) or bots (computer riders), once the
session is set up it appears in the bkool indoor program under the programmed heading.
I think this is correct anyway but I have only done it a couple of times using the computer
opponents, if this is wrong I'm sure someone will let us know.
