Just finished my first session with my replacement one and all's good. Its set to version 3.6, the fan doesnt rub at all (seems quieter even than the last one), cadence is still reading high at times but doesnt seem half as erratic on first glance.

Push them for a swap out, as Bkool take ages sending out a unit - you could be without one for 2-3 weeks if you send yours in first.

Thanks for the info Rick. I've already asked wiggle for a swap-out but no response as of yet. Hopefully they don't send me a unit which has sat around since last year and has all the same problems my one has/had. In that respect it'd be better to be dealing direct with bkool.
Good to hear yours is up and running well. You'll need to try a bit harder to beat Randy though

Anyone had any success in uploading a session to Garmin connect via a file ? Garmin supposed to except FIT files but comes up with error when I try ?

No luck with it, even contacted Garmin, they didn't want to know. They just blame the other party they only support Garmin.

Bkool, I need your help please.

Attempted Teknikparken Hagasröm in the summer Bkool league and managed to complete 6.1 miles before a box appeared on the screen asking if I wished to end the ride with no option other than yes. I have had this happen on a couple of rides but only seems to occur once I hit a steep decent. This is the first time I've reported it as now its effecting rides within leagues which will make it pointless me riding league sessions.

Hopefully you have a fix for this, pretty frustrated.

Bkool got in touch and unit required a firmware update. Unit working great now.

Glad to hear it man. Looks like Bkool are getting things sorted for a lot of us. Customer service could finally be turning the corner.

I thought some of you slower riders may have a little jealously; So I've asked them to drop those rides but I don't think they believe I can ride any slower than 29 mph.

I did a stage yesterday at around 7pm but it hasnt been verified yet either. I think they normally have them added during the next working day at some point so it should be sorted by close of business today I would assume.

In your case Randy I don't think there's any worm holing going on. I reckon its just the snow has melted in Alaska so your roller is free to spin like the rest of ours. I'll expect to see you slow down again when the September snows come.

That is a strange one. Neither your ride nor Cb's have registered yet. Normally they register under the singe Stage heading immediately if it's a first attempt. Second and subsequent rides have to be validated for some reason (set-up fault I think). It's usually just the addition to the main scoreboard that takes time. I do hope this isn't the start of bkool losing rides again.

Na, should be fine. Mine gets flagged as i dropped a kg off my weight after the league started which gives me a red X against the ride everytime. They always variety it though. Also had a red X for connection lost but can't say I noticed any drop outs when riding!

I watched some of yesterdays race and couldn't help noticing how odd Olvins ride was. His numbers were all over the place, and it was as if he constantly shifted from play to fast forward and back. E.g. he would go from 9 km/h uphill to 30 km/h in an instant, with very little effort.

i emailed them this is the reply I got ,

Thanks for your message. Probably your session hasn't been validated due to the fact that it doesn't follow one of the league's validation rules. The administrators might have your session pending review. As soon as they reevaluate it and aprove it, it will show on the classification.

I challenged Olvin a few days back and got my 4ss handed to me by over 3 mins. He had the cheek to drop in and watch as well . To be fair he did try to encourage me but he was pretty safe as he sped away into the distance. Good sport for him I suppose watching other bkoolers suffer

I had the same problem with fit files so I upload the fit file to strava which I mark
as private and stationary trainer so as not to show up on real rides and from there
you can export the ride as a gpx file to your download folder on PCs or laptop then
upload that file to garmin connect, after doing so you do have to edit the ride because
for some reason the info is not all correct, I normally use the BKool ride info and
input that, the gpx file does include warm up and cool down mileage and time so I
edit that and just input the main part of the ride time, distance etc. Hope this helps.
