Hi,

It was the official one I got with my garmin. It's the only one that lets me browse my garmin when connected, when use any other it just charges so there seems to be some subtle difference.

Other thing to try to run Bsim in compatibility mode so it thinks it an older os (right click, properties on icon)

Good luck
Thanks I have a dig for my garmin leads and try the compatability mode :okay:

Oh ok  I was tinkering pre purchase of a new turbo (tacx vortex smart) Like the look of bkool but not the lack of deleting!
The scheduled rides not done do not show up anywhere bar the calender page of bkools website, after their due date, afaik. They drop off of the bsim software once the scheduled date has passed.

I am now depressed due to the need to generate 265w to go to am2 :cry::surrender:
I wonder why BKool don`t put this on the English website?
Can someone explain what it means when the speed number turns blue, I did see something
about it on here but can`t find it , thanks.

Essentially the blue speed values are the bsim calculation of the speed you would be doing (given your weight, power, gradient and cadence), when the readings of the turbo unit go outside the expected values.

I seem to spend most of my time with blue numbers due to my weight

Thanks for answering, I only seem get blue numbers on the steep downhills, they don`t
seem to last for long tho.

Out of interest, did your replacement trainer have 'UK Edition' sticker on the side ? I had a few similar issues, after several emails to Bkool they did a remote dial in, they loaded a piece of software that could check the trainer, calibrations etc...there was an issue with my download, removed & reloaded & checked and now I'm back in action. There are a few of us that have had a replacement trainer recently and we are all in agreement that it's feels a lot harder, but it's probably a lot more realistic.

My new trainer had a uk sticker on the box monte. I'm unsure if I'm on the latest software and don't really believe bkool have checked/dialled in to my trainer to see what actual software it is running. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming that they can tell what software was installed on the unit before it was actually sent to me.
I'll take a picture of my about bkool page and post it on here. Can one of you please have a look at it and let me know if bkool were correct and that my trainer is on the most upto date software. I don't want to be stuck with a trainer that cannot be updated in the future. And unfortunately, that's what I think I have.
Also, what did you do to get bkool to dial in to your trainer and do the update and how do you know they actually did it and aren't just pulling the wool over your eyes.
Sorry, I have an untrusting nature.

Sorry for all the photos, but wasn't sure which one would be needed.
Can someone tell me if I'm on the most up to date software please. Cause I don't think I am. I think bkool are telling me fibs, hope they are not tho.

I get them on both due to my input (actual) weight. It slows me down going up and accelerates me going down hill (sometimes to the point of being outside the expected values of the session, at which point the session stops and will not restart).

I currently max out the resistance of the trainer at about 5.6 or 5.7% in the software going up hill. So although I can do 60 rpm on a 34/32 at max resistance, the software shows me as going, say 2.5 mph on a 10% gradient (although a Garmin speed sensor says 5 mph). I need to drop about 30 kilos to get a more accurate speed (something I am working on, already down 5 kilos)

It's the "BKool Trainer Pro v3.06 (ant)" line. You have the same version as me.
Latest firmware is 3.6.

Can I make use of the cyclechat bkool hivemind?
I have have had a strange issue with my right knee ever since chain jammed and with sufficient force to bend derailleur hanger a couple of weeks ago. I don't have pain as such, no twinges but a feeling something is not quite right. It's as if it's swollen, a little sensitive but as I say, no pain. I cannot generate as much power as I can the left. This is noticeable when walking up stairs. I am concious of having to push with my foot to get the same power and movement as the left. I get the odd click but not sure any more than before. Because there is no pain or actual discomfort I have been wary about taking myself to a GP. Rested yesterday and probably will today. Anyone experienced anything similar?
Welcome to 53.
