So did we all (those who wish to partake) agree that we'd play Miss and Out today instead of a re-run of 6giro?

I've had a go of it this afternoon and got it figured out well enough to start a session and have a very basic understanding of the rules. It seems simple enough though. It seems to be all about being ready to sprint for a lap once the bell rings.

I will start the session and there will be a 10 minute warm up at 5pm (uk time). The velodrome games allow flying starts so you can be pedalling when the countdown goes to zero. There are 3 rounds so if you are eliminated from the first you go to the holding area and wait for the next round to start and you get a well needed rest so not all bad.

Password will be "chain" as usual and you will find it in the Live tab. Use the filter to find it. If I am not on the start line then it's the wrong one. Enter between 5pm and 5:10

See you there

So basically, bkool have lied to me????

If they are using common software engineering terms, 3.06 is 3.6!

VRM = version, release, modification, usually V.rr.mm and hence often the release level is two or more digits with leading zero's.

So 06 = 6

Confusing, as it looks like 3.06 is earlier than 3.6 but it would have to be 3.0.6 for that to be true.

Unless they are using "bkool" terminology ...

Hi,

It was the official one I got with my garmin. It's the only one that lets me browse my garmin when connected, when use any other it just charges so there seems to be some subtle difference.

Other thing to try to run Bsim in compatibility mode so it thinks it an older os (right click, properties on icon)

Good luck
Thank you for your help. The Garmin lead worked. I am now on 2.04 firmware on my pre August 2014 classic trainer. Lets see how it kicks my arse now :bicycle::surrender::rofl:

Bill/Rick,

Just my preference, but after seeing Kipsters pics, you might like to consider your options when you start a league ride for multiple users.

I always went into setup and disabled real weather, as it soon gets tiresome to always be riding in the (virtual) dark and rain.
The whole point of using the trainer in winter was to see some sunshine! :sun:

I also disabled bots before then clicking start. You can disable Ghosts or not, but bots are a pain in a multi-user race, as they get in the way.

Cheers,

Geoff

Good point Geoff. Hadnt considered that all the rides will be night time rides now. Wouldnt be good especially if my lights failed again like Thursday night

It's the "BKool Trainer Pro v3.06 (ant)" line. You have the same version as me.
Latest firmware is 3.6.
Mine used to say 3.6 but now says 3.06 so it seems that is now the new display method - the screen has changed in layout, so it must have been given a refresh.

Well done Rick! You were on fire in there :cycle:

I just couldn't maintain enough power and will have to blame my goat ride earlier, short though it was:angel:.
