I detect the demeanour of a man who has reasserted his place in the chaingang pecking order:tongue:

106% effort with Marie, i will have you know!
14/12/2015 Marie Blanque 36:33 9.5 Km. 685.0 m. 561 106%
:okay:

Yes, I did notice your 106% effort and extremely healthy power out put for your weight. :notworthy:

It also occurred to me that if I were to give it a go (and probably fail) I'd be more or less useless for the rest of the week, including Thursday night so I thought I'd better not.
I will consider it over the Christmas holidays though and will be sure to point it out to you if I win^_^. If not it will be silently forgotten about:okay:

Just an FYI. I got back to town last night and before my morning ride I got prompted for a bsim update.

I'm trying to work ocan csthange bikes mid ride, 53/11 for downhill and 34/32 for the hilly bit! I might have to change the cassette on the road bike!
I just received this yesterday it is supposed to be an 11x32 as the box is marked but it is really 12x32. So that is my excuse for being slower on the flats.

If you can make do with 1080p, then I may have some useful info too, regarding PC hardware requirements. Over the years, I have build several Home Theater PC's. The CPUs in these PC's are handpicked, trying to obtain the best video performance and still having low TDP (the lower TDP, the easier it is to make them silent). 3D performance is totally irrelevant in this context. My favorite CPUs are the Intel Core series with build-in graphics and video hardware acceleration.
There are a ton of Intel Core CPU variations, but as mentioned, the one I use is definitely in the low-muscle category (Intel Core i3-3250 Ivy Bridge).
I did the last Chain Gang race on my wifes laptop, which has an Intel Core i5 (mobile version) with only 17 Watt TDP (definitely not a gaming PC) and yet the 3D was fluent.

So the conclusion must be that almost any Intel Core iX desktop CPU will do, while any mobile version from Core i5 and up, will do.

Oowww that was harder than needed . A week off the bike through various reasons does not a happy cyclist make . Almost but not quite xx(. Just nothing there in the legs, no power, no highish cadence, couldn't get the HR up and stable, as for the razor masquerading as a saddle

Still finished Malham Cove in the T100 league :surrender:.

Off for a rethink :headshake:

Went to do a goat ride tonight, but I forgot to clean the bike after Saturday's mucky ride and it was still caped in mud, so cleaned it tonight. I've been having gear shift problems on the turbo but on the road it's been ok. As this is the winter hack / turbo bike it kind of gets neglected and the rear derailleur appears to be knackered (i've stripped and rebuilt it previously). New one on order, hopeful that it arrives tomorrow so I can get it fitted for the Thursday chain gang and the club Christmas ride on Saturday.

If it arrives on tomorrow I'll need to test it with a goat ride to make sure every gear combination works ;-)

LIVING THE DREAM
It is indeed!

AAAC I'm wondering how you set up your fans with that 40" tv in front of you? One each side of the tv perhaps? I'm thinking of improving my setup but right now have the large single fan right in front of me.

I use one of these from Screwfix, it was on offer at the time:

Also I found a cheep set of wireless switched adaptors from B&Q so I can turn it on and off sat on the bike, same goes for the turbo.
A bit like these
