Finally got my Bkool room back after all the Christmas visitors/visiting and had a go at stage 4 - clearly I should do more sitting around over-indulging on food and alcohol as I felt pretty good! Was quite pleased with 29.25 - sadly too late to count in the league now though.

I won't make the 7pm ride Thursday but will hopefully make the Saturday re-run of the big finale!

Still 2 weeks before I get my setup back. Managed to sort out enough room to do the final mountain goats stage-tourmalet. Got left for dead by Rick as usual and settled into a nice rhythm with 2 bots who seemed to be there for me no matter how I rode. I became quite fond of them after an hour!
Bkool must know I've been pigging out over Christmas as its rejected my ride due to weight queries
I'd be grateful if someone could do the necessary tweaking to accept it thanks

Thanks for the insider tip during the Chain Gang session, AAAC^_^.
Ole was pretty tough on the straits and I couldn't keep up with him on the downhills.
We had a good collaboration for the most of the race, bringing the avg. speed up. Ole bailed out on the last uphill. To bad, I think he would have made a good time.

Hi, seems like the is the place to ask Bkool questions !

Does Bkool have a Trainer Road Power Match type function so I can read power from my Powertap ?
Are there regular group rides / races. Would be fin to join a mass race on Saturday morning when its horrible outside ?
Is there a workout creator ?

Thanks
No, it just estimates your power using the trainer and your inputted weight. There's no way to use a proper Power meter with Bkool I'm afraid.

Have copied some info below on the various groups on Cyclechat. Hope that helps! Chaingang is the only one with official group race times.

Joining Groups

There have been several questions about what groups/leagues we currently have. These groups are to encourage social interaction on this forum, and so are restricted to people who are active on this forum! Use the links below to request to join. Then please post your bkool name in the Joining a riding group on Bkool thread to let us know who you are: https://www.cyclechat.net/threads/joining-a-riding-group-on-bkool.190255/

Currently active Bkool "Cyclechat" groups

Chaingang - Weekly Thurs evening rides, starts @7pm, repeat on Sat @5pm
Aimed at getting a large group riding (in 3D) at the same time (rides can be done at other times if you can't make the group rides). Mixed terrain to suit a wide range of abilities and there is generally someone of similar ability to race/ride with. Drafting is encouraged!

Mountain Goats - aimed at people who like long steep alpine climbs
http://www.bkool.com/group/show/75682

Mountain Moose - Longish less steep climbs for the larger rider
http://www.bkool.com/group/show/112763

Top 100 - Most of the UK Top 100 climbs, usually short and always steep

Thats a tough climb Jellybaby. Sorry I couldnt wait for you!

I had the same two companions by the sounds of it. Picked them up from another rides ghost so they must have transferred along when you used my ghost.

Doesn't look like there's a general consensus about rescheduling the thursday race. I think I'll be doing it 16:30 (15:30 UK time) today. If the software allows it, I'll be doing a 10 minutes warm-up if anyone wants to join. Look for "Tramo 50km Bujalance-Cordoba"

sorry LB but computer problems delayed me and so i ended up trying the new Zwift route. No spoilers from me.Its great fun.

Any preferences in what kind of rides I pick for the mountain goats for January?
Choices are:
1/ Less than an hour steep climb all the way.
2/ Less than an hour but some downhill.
3/ Well over an hour steep climb all the way.
4/ Well over an hour but with some downhill & flat.

Looks like most prefer 1's, 3's & 4's so I'll aim to have a combination of these in January's league:

Col de Bracons scheduled 31/12/2015 30/01/2016
Puerto de san Glorio scheduled 05/01/2016 30/01/2016
Col de Peyresourde scheduled 11/01/2016 30/01/2016
Col de la Madeleine scheduled 17/01/2016 30/01/2016
Col d'Allos scheduled 23/01/2016 30/01/2016

At least a couple of "3's" in there I think

Won't be live until the other one ends.

I hope to join if it goes ahead. No pressure from me though Rick. An annoying cough has started tickling my chest and my Zwift averages were way down today:blush:

Had some problems myself. I initially chose a Chain Gang session which had 7 ghosts. Tried it several times, but it kept jumping directly to start of the race. When I chose a version with no ghosts, I finally got the warm-up screen.

I lost BSim connectivity just after that and was not able to watch the whole thing.
I was going to have a crack myself after you had finished but realised I needed to do the last goats ride.
