I'd consider joining you Bill and Roleur1 on Wednesday, but I have to take my son to football training.

(Phew!)

Big respect to both of you for having a go. Irrespective of who crosses the line first It should be a good crack. Loving the head to head action! :boxing:

Also Bill, just noticed that the DD is the week after Velothon Wales. So I might have to miss the handicap on the Tuesday in between!

Adam, is it Sunday 29th May this year? Just looked it up, so weather should be warmer at least. Mrs gave me permission to go too:smile:.

Hard to see a slot for a re-run, and as we run the same session for a few weeks in a row you get a chance the following Tuesday?

It's a shame if 8pm Tuesday never fits someones schedule, but not sure what we could do about it, unless there is enough interest for an additional slot.

Hi Geoff
I am relatively new to bkool so I am not sure how these things work. I have been accepted into the chain gang league and would like to take part in the handicap race tomorrow. How do I do this? I completed the Benicassim - Torreblanca and the in gear 10 mile time trial if this helps with the handicap. Thanks Stuart

Stuart, you need to request to join the group "CycleChat Handicap Chases". And ask Geoff for a start time.

Yes mate, the 29th May. I'm going to sign up for the 128mile, but might do the 90 mile if :-
a) my legs are too shot from the weekend before
b) the weather is anything like last year
c) I fall off again
They are both the same price, so it keeps my options open. Fingers crossed we'll be blessed with a day of gorgeous NON welsh weather. But I have just taken delivery of a pair of Castelli over shoes, no wet feet for Adam this time!

There is just no way the weather will be like last year. It's going to be great!!! And overshoes is extra weight, but I'll take mine anyway just in case. Mind you, mine are very heavy mountainbiking ones.
If you can resist the temptation to stay off your turbo mid week your legs should be good. A youngster like you barely needs a week to bounce back anyway ^_^
