Bill...ill try to keep you posted but the next two or three evenings are going to be troubling for me. My gran on my mums side is 102 and has bowel cancer. shes been taken into hospital in Luton this afternoon with a substantial bleed that they cannot stop. The end is close, so I will more than likely be burning down the M1 either tomorrow or weds night.

Well get the ride done though. If I dont turn up please excuse me.

First genuine excuse I've heard on this forum. 102 is an epic achievement, explains the good genes.
Wishing you guys all the best!

Mark. The ride really doesn't matter as it's just a bit of fun. You have much more important things to take care of.
We'll sort it out for sometime in the future so no need to keep me posted.

Hope things go as well as they can at that age Mark and if it is her time.......... that she goes peacefully and in no pain. Thoughts with you and your family.

Hi Geoff
I am relatively new to bkool so I am not sure how these things work. I have been accepted into the chain gang league and would like to take part in the handicap race tomorrow. How do I do this? I completed the Benicassim - Torreblanca and the in gear 10 mile time trial if this helps with the handicap. Thanks Stuart

Stuart,

Please can you (and anyone else who wants to take part in the Handicap Chases) let us know your Bkool name and apply to join the Cyclechat Handicap Chase Group http://www.bkool.com/group/show/136405

That way, your results will show up in the league stage, which makes it easier for me to collate the times.

It's difficult to know what Start Time to give you for tonight's Tin Can Ten, but from looking at your In Gear time you were between Goldwolfie and Soarerv8, so how about you start between them at 7:30?

Morning all.

I couldn't work out why on the coherent weight column of the validation table it kept saying my weight had changed during the chaingang league.

So today I weighed myself on a set of evil, uncompromising digital scales (as opposed to my old family friend, loyal mechanical scales...).... See where I'm going with this?

Apparently I weigh 5 kilo's more than I thought... Doh! :banghead:

Hard to see a slot for a re-run, and as we run the same session for a few weeks in a row you get a chance the following Tuesday?

It's a shame if 8pm Tuesday never fits someones schedule, but not sure what we could do about it, unless there is enough interest for an additional slot.

Hi Alfie

If you click on an individual stage you come to the clasification page. 'My attempts' shows above the classification table on the left hand side. This may only show when you have a result pending though. I'm not sure. If you click on my attempts a table pops up with various checks on it.

Shall we do it a bit later then Bridgy? :okay:

An additional challenge! Excellent!!!

What's wrong with you guys! - are the chaingang, handicap chases, and mountain goat leagues not enough challenges for you?!

I haven't even found the time or motivation to compete in mountain goats to be honest - I've done Alpe D'huez a couple of times - last time as a 30 minute FTP test and it REALLY HURT!

I think pushing myself to my limits on the handicap on Tuesday and the chaingang Thursday (& possibly Saturday) is enough for me right now thanks very much :B)
