I am just about to eat my tea. Don't think the missus will be best pleased, I delay food or throw up due to eating too late. I'll look at the mountain goat league and see what crazy antics you lot are upto

Which hill is it tonight and time? I might pop onto pc for a watch

Not feeling it at all tonight...

Painting staircase all day, brains gone mushey. Legs are feeling dead. Daughters making a new game of jumping on my head...

You said all excuses are ok on a goat ride right bill?...

I'll see you guys on the start line at 7:50!

Heavier folk get it a bit tougher than us racing snakes.

6'3" and 80kg = racing snake:eek: I though 80kg was considered a large rider, with racing snakes around the 60-70kg mark. Chris Froome being 67kg in 2015, and Marcel Kittel, considered a large rider who cant climb but can sprint, coming in at 86kg

While I am happy to go with racing snake Adam, we've got faily similar stats (6'3" and 80kg), I think my club mates would roll around laughing at the thought!

I was wondering if anyone else on here has gone through what I went through on Monday evening,
after setting up for a 10 mile time trial course which I videoed and uploaded to BKool, I had a drink of
water, got on my bike and did a 10 minute warm up, same kind of warm up as I normally do with a
bit more intensity between the 5 minute down to 2 minute mark then easing slightly and holding a
steady intensity til the countdown, I then started the time trial which was as fast as I could from the start
THEN after just under 2 miles my head felt like it exploded inside, I had to ease off really quickly and
slowed down to lower my heart rate before climbing off my bike with a really bad headache which lasted
for a couple of hours, I felt shaky and quite scared, I later took some painkillers which eased it, checked
my blood pressure which was higher than normal and rested til I went to bed, next morning I woke up
with a very slight headache, blood pressure was back to normal and as the day went on I felt a lot better,
today (Wednesday) Im still not 100% but feeling much better I googled "headache while exercising" and
it seems like I had whats known as an exertion headache, Im now ok but according to the websites
advice is to not train for a week, then gradually ease yourself back into training, sorry this is such a long
post but I was curious if anyone else has experienced this as its the first time this has happened to me
and I am used to doing high intensity workouts on the the turbo.

Super tool is the Bkool Pro. Love it. Id like to know what tablets have ANT+ built in so that I dont need an OTG cable and dongle. Any recommendations?
Tis indeed a neat piece of torturous equipment.
I use my laptop which works a treat. Most important purchase is an industrial strength fan, or you will cook!

I didn't know kittel was 86 kg. Now given he is an elite rider and is made to look silly slow on hills. I think us big guys need a round of applause to come on Bkool and try compete with you fast whippet like riders :bravo:

My racing snake self appraisal was based on what I considered to be an extremely lithe, athletic and dare I say it, dashingly handsome figure in Y-fronts and socks, staring back at me from my mirror.

It was Adam, very scary, I can deal with hangover headaches but that.......OUCH!!

Yeah CXRAndy I`ll be taking it easier for a while, still have a slight feeling of it so gonna give the
turbo a miss for a week and see how I feel doing easier sessions next week and yeah if it happens
again I`ll definitely be seeing the doc.
