I have a "sweat thong" to protect my bike from sweat and spittle! Yes it is actually called a "sweat thong" and yes did get a funny look from my wife when I asked for it for Xmas!!

I read that as 'sweet thong' to start with and couldn't work out how that would protect your bike from anything let alone the thought of someone wearing one on a bike!

Had an aquathlon today so no biking for me but I will try some of your old rides soon, promise, i will, honest...
Just to clarify the rubber stain doesnt particularly worry me from a cleaning point of view it is more the worry that half the tyre is missing if we do take the bikes on an actual, real life, could fall off and hurt road.
