Really confused me. You all shot off and I was pedeling like mad but stuck in last. Then realised I was still on the line. Try and restart but same problem. Power lead a bit iffy on BKOOL unit and it had gone off. Get it sorted and find the race and jump in but I am the only one there? Then Monte jumps in. I think I have wrong session so cancel it. And try again. Find session with a load of riders but when I join it just me again. And then Monte jumps in again.

Was I in same race you you guys?

Nope once it is blue you are adding nothing unless you can pedal it faster than that

that's what I thought but instinct wants you to go that bit faster, especially when you have someone in your sights

Apologies to all!

I've been having some Ant+ connection issues but that's the first time that it's dropped out once I've started a ride - unfortunately that meant the race started when my signal dropped out. I had to log out completely and manually pair up again - I think I've sussed out that its my Garmin watch playing havoc as it seemed to work better when I turned it off.

I will accept whatever punishment you feel befitting such a tragic event. I suggest a public flogging followed by being dragged behind a horse through the streets.

Where do you see the time paused on the ride @kipster ?

If you go into the league session where it has boxes to show your times, click on the box and it gives you the data. It's the same box that sometimes has a red X in it if you've gone outside of the league parameters.

Yeah I logged out & in again several times wondering what everyone else was doing then realised the race was on...

Well that was a bit of a flap, casually tootling along, then 10 seconds counter. Wtf I thought, it's OK I can just wait for flywheel to stop then start. Then I thought sh!t I haven't started the fan, jumped off bike, fan started. Then I thought, I bet they abandon and restart, but no most of you were long gone, just a few stragglers thinking what's is going on. Mad panic went far too hard early trying to catch someone and died a going up the long climb. Actual time not so bad but could be better now I know there are some long slopes to contend with. The downhill section now is pretty much a waste of time with bkool taking over speed Calc. There was only a couple of times where I pushed hard going downhill, but those were worth it as I pulled away from the chasers.

I've had the same problem in the past Paul. In my case it was internet connection that was letting me down.

I'm confused by my time, I know I crossed the line at 41:08, with CXRAndy and Stuart ahead, yet it's put me down at 44:45

All that effort towards the end and I thought I had you Insomnia. Think we swapped places 3 times in the last minute including twice in the last 10 seconds or so!! Genuinely felt ill afterwards

Cheers, I did push hard tonight - I think thats why I'm so pissed off with myself and this is the 1st time I've experienced the software freezing and it was all my own fault.

I had hopes of managing to stay mid pack up the gentle slopes and crushing all on the downhill section

Well, if it's any consolation, nothing went wrong for me, and I still feel like rubbish! I'm completely rinsed. Need food!
