I wish Bkool would drop this blue speed malarky. I am all for it to be realistic to a point, but a turbo is supposed to be harder. If I want to peddle hard or fast I don;t want the simulator deciding my speed is incompatible, Speed is what it is, Rant over
So agree with this. Drives me mad.

Also what a great word- 'malarky' should be used more. I will now I know how to spell it.

In theory you would be better off not pedaling, but then you will lose momentum and need time to build it back up.

What is worse now, in the Velodrome on a totally flat course, I can get blue speed, when setting off at the start, which lasts for ages and then it I put a burst of effort in it goes blue again. It is not that funny really!

That would be the 15% section I was going up at about 30mph and not slowing down .

Might give Saturday's rerun ago, although I've got to finish the T100 league this weekend so I can do some reruns of them.

It's definitely better for me if you're in the race breedon. I think now you've seen I'm like an uncontrollable Boulder going down hill, you might want to use your superior climbing ability to get a bigger lead before we hit the big drop! :bicycle:

Yeah did think that plus I won't (hopefully) be stuck at the line for 20 seconds gives me something to work too

It's the 29th May, I did try PM'ing you, but you have your Cyclechat account set to MI5, super secret setting.
We have a second spare room too, which you are more than welcome to use. I'm sure I speak for Bill as well, when I say we would love to see another Bkooler do it with us, and you would be MORE than able to cope with the course.
Plus also, Bill might do us a 2 for 1 on the slingshot advancement training course.

Careful Bridgy, you might find your self in the caravan being asked to put on a bra...

Very generous of you Adam - thanks. And sorry for the secret squirrel settings on my cyclechat account - I don't remember ever changing anything! I will have a look at unlocking that.

I would love to join you if I can - I will have to check the diary and find the right moment to seek approval from Mrs Bridgy......wish me luck!

Sounds like there's some really dodgy stuff going on here, it also looks like you have made it back to the "big time" @Add (Adam), i'm hoping to be over this dam cold after the weekend and after a bike service should be back on here........and even might consider going outside in "The Real World" for a ride....although i shall have to wrap the bike in clingfilm to stop it getting dirty now it's been so used to being clean through the winter!!!:rain::cold:

If bkool had a re-calibration option, like Wahoo, that didn't require them to dial into the turbo then i would hope many of our concerns/complaints about blue numbers would disappear. I had blues downhill the other night that turned white as i pedaled frantically and the speed increased. And i fear i may have seen one in one of my first ever Alp d'Huez attempts but I suspect that was bkool contemptuously telling me i was going too slow:blush:
