Keep forgetting that the Pro mounts on those two sprung pins, I like my old Classic frame which is a long nut and bolt going through some beefy welded metal brackets and of course the nose of the turbo unit.
There is some play there though that needs to be 'centralised' every now and then but in my opinion its a sturdier set up than the Pro.
My Pro has that set up, not two sprung pins?

I want to 'report' this. Feel a bit dizzy.

That's exactly what my missus said when it happened!

I don't know about you but I find however much I tighten up the rear wheel in the trainer arms, it comes loose by the end of a ride - particularly an "energetic" one! So I always tighten it back up before a new ride. I suspect if this isn't done the movement that it would allow would cause problems over time

Paul, are you pushing the cam fully home then tightening the nut on the other side? If so, I don't see how it can come loose.

Its not the skewer part. Thats rock solid.
Its where the roller part connects with the 2 pins. It moved 5 / 10 degrees, i think by pessky kids.

I see. Thanks. I must have missed that.
Mine also has the 2 sprung pins but also not ever had any problems with that. I think its important that they are located properly which can be difficult.

Ahhhh, those two sprung pins...now I'm up to speed! Yes, never had a problem with those either, but they have always struck me as a particularly "weak" design flaw. Sure they could have come up with a better hitch than that!

I can't see how I can make room in my life for another cycling simulator tbh. Plus it would feel like adultery!

Ummh...and how does that feel?;)

Sure, but a decent way to have easy rides without hitting your rating in bkool.

Just logged back into the league as I forgot who had done it twice without completing. Other admin must have been in and deleted all the uncompleted rides so someone with admin status deleting the evidence perhaps ;)
Guilty as charged! Was in tidying up late Thursday. Can't remember the names either! :shy:

So who's up for round 2 tomorrow??:heat:

Noticed tonight that BKool has dropped me back down to Amatuer1 fitness level following my break and subsequent poor rides. Need to see how quickly I can get back to Amatuer7 again!!

I should be there, 5pm isn't it? It sounds like so much fun I'd be a fool to miss it.:o)

Ahh just remembered that she who must be obeyed does fancy the ideal home show tomorrow.... Well if I don't make the official 2nd round I'm definitely doing it and then wearing it as a badge of honour/shame depending on my time.
