Zwift have their new mountain route premiered today. YouTube trailer teaser makes it look interesting. Bill and you other goats, perhaps time for you to try out the free demo?
Hmm. Now I have an excuse for not doing the chain gang ride everyone has been complaining about -- I need to try the zwift mountain ride... And there's a chance I might head out into the real world on Sunday. It looks like it might just be warm enough to climb Little Cottonwood and not freeze too badly on the way down...

I really cannot join in today. Mrs B and our youngest are doing a Swimathon this afternoon for sport relief with a bunch of friends. I will be there to cheer them on and avoid the concerned looks of mums and dads wondering why a middle aged man is hanging about at the side of a swimming pool full of kids:rolleyes: Will finish about 4 then we are apparently hosting a celebration. It would be very difficult, and possibly shameful given the worthiness of their effort compared to mine, to disappear up to the loft and join you all. So I will do it tomorrow and chase some ghosts.

5pm will slot nicely in between the Welsh game and the England game. Perfect timing.
Unless of course I take 3 hours to complete it!

This for me is a real and present danger!
Take it steady over the first bit and the first 2 hills to get to know the profile. Then you may find you can push a lot harder. Going full on over the first bit will get you in trouble very quickly

Hi guys, apologies if this is the wrong place to post. I am interested in joining the mountain goats, top 100 and chain gang groups on bkool.
Just started trying out bkool bit of a struggle getting to grips with how to find rides. Would the groups/leagues make that easier?. Any help much appreciated.

Can't make it later I'm afraid so I just had a go on my own. Bit of a struggle to say the least :surrender:

I'm pretty sure the warm up starts at 5pm Soarer although I'm never 100% sure...

It'll be 5pm for the start of the warm up and race start at 5.10. It's just the handicap races that start the warm up 10 minutes before the hour and the race on the hour, so that it's easier to know when to start on your handicap time (at least that's what I assume the reason is!)
