I didn't think I was going to enjoy that one, as I still felt tattered after the Alpe d'Huez last night. Also started a bit late, but once I caught you I thought it would be good to try out our drafting techniques one again.

It worked well, I enjoyed the company and my legs didn't feel to bad after sharing the workload. My competitive spirit got the better of me with 3 miles to go, so I pushed on for the finish, and a nice cold beer - after I completed my warm down of course.
I was going to be in trouble up any significant slope :mrpig:. While I think I could've stayed with you on flatish finish. As soon as it went above 2% I was in trouble :cursing:. I knew you would be gone on those two slopes and I'd be hurting :B). I really enjoyed,, last night though. Thank you for the help .

My observations about drafting and getting teams together to do it in Bkool.

1. You tend to go faster, easier, in a group . Drafting works in Bkool.
2. The perceived time is shorter, even though you are spending an hour or more in the session. Due to, the concentration needed, trying to keep the string togother .
3. You feel guilty if you don't contribute to the draft, 67/88 .
4. If you want a draft team mate/group look out for announcements in this thread or announce your intention/target speed or time and see if any one will join you :bicycle::bicycle::bicycle::bicycle: .
5. Be preppared to suffer. Although generaly easier, drafting tends to suck you in to going faster than you are comfortable with. Also the competitive spirit tends to come out :stop::headshake::surrender:

Enjoy the suffering drafting produces

Yep to all of the above well put. If I am just pedalling away on my own I tend to watch the gradient thinking "oh ×××× here comes an 8% bit" whereas when I am drafting I am just concentrating on the wiggly green lines.

On nights next week . Not looking forward to it :headshake:. I'm gonna have to change my routine and do the session @ or about 6am instead of pm :surrender:
I'm thinking of telling my boss man the hours I think I should work and they don't involve tues, thurs,

Sorry about that, AAAC :shy:.
It's just that I knew you would crush us at the hill, so I tried to get a few seconds advantage before the ascent began.

I knew he would crush us on the hill too and my initial mad dash at the bottom of the hill was pure desperation. I fully expected to be crushed by you too, but I think you may have used up some much needed energy on your snake bites. I looked at your HR graph and it was up a fair bit while that was going on.
Interestingly your average seems to be about 10 less than mine.

Anyone tried a ftp test on Bkool as looking at a graph in trainer road is not very motivating :P

Any climbs to recommend for a 20-30 min all out effort?
