I might be looking for some rear end drafters for the Thursday Chain Gang race.
I'm not being rude BTW, it's just that I've just completed the final stage of the Moose League and it wasn't pleasant - Snowbird Hillclimb :cursing:

Hopefully, I will have recovered to try and tag along with someone at the rear of the pack.

Having missed last night's handicap chase I completed it today does this time count or is that just wishful thinking.

Stuart - did you do it in 37mins 52 secs? That's some effort BTW - well done.

If so, it's in the Stage 3 listings in the Handicap League section, so I assume it will count - unless Bkool does some 'magic' overnight.

That's one nasty climb. The scary folks are those that switch to the mtn bike at the end of the road race for an additional 3000ft/4mi race up the dirt/gravel access road into the ski area.

Well done BTW.

Chaingang race tonight at 7pm. Warmup 10 mins. I'll be starting the session so either search under Live tab for me, or search for the name of the ride, which is Maine Bike Rally Biddeford. Searching any single word should bring up the chaingang ride using the filter. If I'm not there when you join the ride then you will have entered the wrong session. Please try to join between 7.00 and 7.05. The aim will be for a race start when the countdown reaches zero. If it does one of those phantom starts (which is not unknown) then if it's less than 3 mins to go, we'll just use it as the start. If it's more than 3 mins then I'll re-start with reduced warmup to make the full 10 mins. Hope that makes sense.
Please look on here for any last minute info/problems. If I'm nowhere to be seen it could be because my connections down but not a common problem for me so it should be ok. However, if there's no race to be found, someone else please start it at 5 past. See you all there.

Thanks @JLaw - Full of admiration for those who complete the 'extras' out in the real world.

You put together some tough rides in that series - much appreciated.

Just giving Bkool a try, can I join the 100 climbs group on the free platform?

hi there, hope you enjoy Bkool. :hello: If you're on a free account you will only have limited access to group functions and leagues and I dont think you get 3D courses or videos either. Do no harm to try the free trail of premium to get a full flavour of what Bkool offers.

Sun is shining outside think it is finally time to shave the guns and do some hill reps outside for once.

Shame there is no hour long climbs in surrey outside of my pain cave

I'd like to join please , just got my trainer back as had lent to someone else , name is the same as on here

If you go to the leagues tab on Bkool website, there should be a join option to the league

Leagues for CycleChat Chain Gang

One of the organisers will be online soon and sort you out :okay: Welcome

Looks like a flat* stage again tonight - here's hoping I get a good enough start to get into some drafting with someone faster than me!

*It looks a lot flatter in the little graphic in the league than the profile does on the ride details themselves!

I'll be outdoors tonight, then I have a 2up 30km TT Saturday. So I am saving any spare capacity for then. I will try and catch up on leagues next week:wacko:

Good luck for Saturday - I think it's going to get increasingly busy for many of us trying to fit in Bkool races as well as real world rides (and races) now the weather's improving. All these tough Bkool races through the winter should help hugely with the fitness for this time of year though
