In my experience so far, trying to keep up with Bill, LBHIFI and Bobinski is not compatible with talking coherently.

In my experience so far, trying to keep up with Bill, LBHIFI and Bobinski is not compatible with talking coherently.

I am a bit concerned about the whole talking and cycling thing, I tried to drink yesterday whilst pedalling and nearly drowned. My lungs are requesting so much oxygen that there really isn't much room for anything else to go on with my mouth.

Well OK, that's been the case a bit at the end of the last 2 TTT's but no reason why it will keep being the case - and my best time is the slowest in our team on tonight's course, so I will have my work cut out!

I think the challenge for you is probably having to change your normal riding style a bit to take advantage of the drafting, as your speed tends to be a bit more erratic than the rest of us? I'm hoping we can get the drafting working a bit better earlier on this time as it's taken a while to get going well in the last two - I think due to the uneven terrain a bit

I think that's probably right Bridgy made worse by my need to spin because I cannot turn top gear on the flat unless out of the saddle. Inevitably the faster I spin to keep up the quicker I end up puffed out. I don't like not taking a turn though so not sure how to square the circle.

You are their secret weapon my friend, tow you up the hill and then unleash you at the top to tuck in behind.

I am hoping my team mates see me this way too and drag me along the upwards bits to launch me like a plump torpedo at the finish line.

I would like to point out I have a cold. Not looking for (or expecting) sympathy but team snot is the correct team for me to be in this evening.

Team green if you hear a snuffling sweary sound like an angry pig after truffles over the wireless that will be me.

I plan on doing the CT calibration at 11 so I can watch the race.
