After last nights TTT I fancied a pint so thought I would ride up to the Merry Harriers (Chain Gang Bonus Sprint 2)..

Big mistake, I nearly called for a taxi half way up .

Just wanted to get a time on the board, and give me something to aim for another attempt.

Could one of the admins approve my ride, just in case I have second thoughts a choose a pub at the bottom of a hill for my next refreshment stop.

That stage certainly has a very misleadingly "chirpy", "fun" sounding name :stop:

The glaring flaw in your cunning plan, is that in order for us to draft over the finish line, we, ( or in particular, I ) need to be somewhere in the vicinity of you during the latter stages of the event. This can only happen if you either stop in Llanelli and go shopping for an hour, buy tonnes of stuff, load it in the bike and proceed to carry it all with you for the remaining 60 miles or we invest in a tandem.

Bit of an exaggeration there Adam. I'm sure we could get a plan together and have the three of us come in together, not far away from the front, although your idea of a tandem would be the best. Anyone know where we can hire a triple tandem for the day?

Exactly where my mind went too
Well it's better than where our (yes "our") minds were going yesterday.

That reminds me J. Thanks from team Blue for that little extra speed down the hill. :okay:
Had to try and get in front of y'all and see how long I could hold it once the road flattened out :-) It wasn't for long...

It was hard as hell to know where everyone was with someone bouncing back and forth due to what appeared to be a bad connection (as can be seen on Geoff's video).

Next time I'm going to stick closer to Goldwolfie and Bert. I let them get too far away while trying to help Rob.

These are the standings at the moment...

Blue - 41:51
Not Red - 42:08
White - 43:03
Green - 47:00

Got until Sunday for anyone who missed the ride, or anyone who can post an improvement to have a go.
Can I throw in ghosts from my team and take another run that way, or do I have to solo?
