Good luck all for tonight's ride. Ended up shortening the road ride with a view to joining in but then ate dinner too late so missing it anyway :wacko:. Have fun:notworthy:

I realise everyone is busting a gut at the minute :sweat: but when you've recovered you can have a look at the new Chaingang listing here:

Due to start tomorrow!

Rick, what happened to the procrastination ??:tongue:

Well 8pm is now @JLaw.....
Realized my mistake...

Sadly, the damn garmin software was hogging my ant connection and I only figured that out about 30 seconds before start time... So, no warm up. Then after finally getting up to speed, dropped the chain, letting the train go by....

Couldn't quite hold off BillS.

Would love to run that one again without the glitches...

That's wierd!

Here's the classification, showing what we all saw, AAAC winning but quite a margin

And here is the stage standings...

I thought I had no chance after you passed me but then I thought I'd have a go at some out of the saddle and managed to drag you back. That turned out to be one of the toughest races I've done recently and I felt quite unwell afterwards.:heat:xx(

Effort wise is wasn't any easier, climbing speed much faster. But when the gradient went under 8% is became ridiculously easy so I could spin up and get a huge slingshot. If that is what you light weight riders experience make no wonder you can open huge leads in a matter of seconds

Well that has to have been the funniest chase start ever :rofl:.

I enjoyed that, but had absolutely no hint of blue numbers what so ever :cursing:. I think I broke my legs yesterday on the Biggin Hill loop I did :B). Tried to spin @80-85 rpm and kept burning out :surrender:.

When the weight is very low I see lower power. Bkool reads 175-185 and vectors read 200-210. I gain a bit on the uphill but lose it on the downhill :sad:.

I'd have a go at that again though. I will leave a day before clear for recovery though. :whistle:.

Thanks Geoff :thumbsup::notworthy:
