All dressed up and no where to go tonight I'm afraid.:cursing:

Dodgy internet connection as I could see the session in Live but the sim kept crashing when trying to load the session - same on both my laptop and tablet, so had to give up in the end.

I'll probably have another go tomorrow night to see what effect the extra pounds has on last nights attempt.

LIVING THE DREAM
What is it with you and the fact that weight differences hardly make any difference to your speed?! Whatever Geoff sets your weight at you do these rides minutes quicker than everyone else - and my change of weight this time added over 2.5 minutes to my time!

Heck knows.
My average power is down 15 watts and my speed was only down 0.7 kph with a 23 kg weight gain
I can only say that the extra weight has made me hit some sort of limit in the SW
My speed on the flatter parts was a tad higher, which could be the new SW but the rest of my performance profiles look pretty my much the same.

Well with you coaching me Whorty I seemed to get that extra little boost. Was too tired to even get off the bike at the end though.
You was going like a steam train Bill .... I'm not surprised you was knackered!

Glad to see you back and ready for action.

I've just completed a trundle up Rundlestone as I had problems last night with my connection. Set my weight to 104 lbs less than half my proper weight, so it's not a bad one to get the legs moving. Not sure I fancy it fully 'loaded' though.

I'm sure there will be more around tomorrow night, especially with the current weather.

I should be there tomorrow night. Be my only ride in the July league due to hols and work commitments, so I better make it count! If you and @rob01792 want a domestic to help pace you up the hill then I'm happy to do that, then you can leave me for dead on the descent

Well I had a pop at stage 1 of the new chaingang league tonight as I don't know if I'll make it tomorrow (getting organised for leaving for a weekend of mountain biking at Bike Park Wales and Afan early Friday morning :wahhey:)

All I will say is it's not quite as straightforward as it seems on paper! Not all the up is up and not all the down is down. Make sure your gears are in good working order as you'll be using the a lot, and those with the new updates prepare yourselves mentally for those sudden crashes in speed - I had quite a few of them! Enjoy!

Oh goody, you're back, just in time for stage one of the july league . Don't believe the profile .

The second half is almost as bad as the first. The new fw/sw may catch a few out on the back side of that lump . I had to work almost as hard going downhill as I did going up . It is an undulating climb with some quite steep transitions :surrender:.
