WOW!! Had to google SVR F type. And there was me thinking I was lucky to have got myself a 2004 A4 Avant 1.9 TDI Sport the other week.

The trouble with that car is that it would turn me into a total hooligan. I need to be kept away from anything with an exciting power band. For my sake and the sake of others.
For that reason I pretend that I only like big old estate cars.

Thanks for the moral support @theboxers trouble is you have to try to find some way to communicate back and all I could think of was pedalling like stink.

@BILL S my first thought was to try to stay within 5 minutes of you, realised very quickly that wasn't going to happen then thought 10 minutes and eventually settled on 1 minute per mile. Quite glad you dropped out.....

Errr yeah.... I lost my connection sometime after the 30 mins . I was going to stay to the end but I was overheating and running out of energy fast. Thanks for joining in and helping to test the ride. I assume you also didn't run across any problems Soarer. Think this would make a good league ride?

WTF! That ride put me to Elite1. I says I made 430 watts average. During the ride the watts readout did seem rather high for the effort I was putting in.

Yes I think it would make a good drafting league ride if there were a few of us, bit gruelling on your own.

Made up for a bad finish in the Nationals last week but it would have been good to see him cross the line today in the National Champs jersey ahead of the World Champions bands.
Never mind, can't complain getting his first Yellow Jersey probably makes up for last week.
Certainly made me smile.

The test today was nearly 30 mph average and should be quicker with drafting.

Cheers for that Bill but I am taking an end of BKool season rest whilst the TdF is running as there are various bits of my bod that need a rest as even sitting down at the moment is giving me some minor greif.

That's a pity AAAC but fully understand that you probably need a rest. My undercarriage is still causing pain due to previous rides without proper seat position and padding so I know how bad it can get. You have probably put in more miles than me on a hard saddle. Anyway, hopefully you'll be back after your rest.

New July League now set up for starting tomorrow.

Thanks for that Andy, but now that there won't be a problem in our latest league I think I'll just leave it to bkool to sort out in their own time. They'll hopefully be getting plenty of complaints from else where.
Apparently my machine doesn't meet the hardware requirements for recording.
