Well done all - good race! What happened to you though @LBHIFI ?

Well done AAAC & Bill for getting away - I was really struggling today, my legs just weren't working properly! I found that SOOO much harder than last week's :heat:

Well done all . I just couldn't keep up with you this time. I didn't feel to bad to begin with, but the legs just felt more and more jelly like, and I decided there was no point in wasting energy. Saturdays are reserved for club rides, so guess I have to make my attempt tomorrow.

I expected you two to catch up any moment, but when you fell back I realised that Lars had done stage 1 last night so could be struggling tonight. Then I thought that I was quite a bit behind in the league points so with AAAC's kind help I thought I'd try to catch up a bit. Thanks for waiting AAAC when I got stuck on those inclines. As usual, you were a gentleman .

Well not too bad a 2 1/2 hours tonight. Warm up on pot molle, the shelf for the weight handicap with a sub 15 minutes :wahhey:, the chaingang @ over 200w for more than an hour  and finally a nice slow warm down :surrender:.

I think I'll sleep well tonight:thumbsup:.

AAAC thanks for the encouragement , no thanks for the reminder that most of the rest was up hill . I was trying something different tonight lower cadence with a bit more power. Seems to have worked. I obviously don't have the cv system for higher cadences at this time . Something to work on:whistle:

Actually, I thought you must have forgotten Lars had ridden last night and thought that the two of you drafting would easily catch us which you probably would normally. But with Lars weakened after last night, you'd be doing very well to catch us.

Yes, but I actually did the toughest (real life) ride the day before that. A test to see how long I could go while keeping the pulse at 160 bpm.Turned out to be 22 km at 40.3 kph.
I was therefore really surprised to feel so strong yesterday, but I guess reality hit me today :B).

That"s some effort TB - I couldn't manage 2.5 hours for a couple of reasons - heat and saddle soreness.

Still that was my first ride as an Old Age Pensioner, reaching 65 yesterday, so you can't over do it at my age.

3 tough days in a row! That's nuts! I need a day at least between rides. :notworthy:
