Woops Sorry! It never occurred to me you might be serious.;)

I can't help thinking bkool will always give updates when you don't need them but when you really need one like now you'll wait months for it. Please prove me wrong bkool
Ha! No worries - I was partially serious and wondering if I'll need to allow extra time when next powering up the Bkool, but at the same time I think I knew what the answer would be and deserved the response you gave! ^_^

Yessssss. Top 10 of Stage 7 in the Summer Cup :wahhey:. Mind you only 9 have done it so far . Still time is not too bad, but the fw advantage is still there .
I was tempted to do this earlier when there was only 3 who had done it  I went for the Le Tour Paris ride instead and used your ghost as a pacer (you probably got the e-mail  ). I noticed I'm way down on the GC as I'm being given the slowest times and some of the guys really are slow! Just by doing the ride today I've knocked almost an hour of my overall GC time :wahhey: I followed up with the BMX ride, just to get that out of the way.

I have only one problem with the Summer Cup. Every session I do must be approved due to weight changes. Although to be honest the amount I am drpping is not going to make a big difference in my times :bicycle::mrpig: :surrender:

I share your cynicism Bill. I am hoping against hope that its a complete rewrite of the code. They had to do so apparently for ant+fec and that must have been driven in part by commercial necessity. I would have thought the commercial imperative is getting stronger. And that aside from the completely bonkers numbers we are seeing in the high profile summer cup. If they had a forum presence there would be a lot of voices baying for change.

Complete rewrite will take a lot of time and a lot of testing. They should do that but knock us back to the previous version while we wait. Was it ant+ fec too? I've only ever connected using it once on this firmware.
But yeah, loads more customers since a year ago, but still by far the majority seem to be on bkool pro's.

OK looks like I'm gonna be in pain about 10:30 tomorrow morning. I've got a niggle in my lower back and an osteopath appointment has been booked. Normally when I catch it early it's a one visit fix and I'm ok to carry on as normal straight after, but nothing is guaranteed. If I miss the handicap session you know why :B)

Testing!
Do you really think they test it, if so I would like to see what the acceptance test procedure looks like.
Perhaps it's like this:
1. Switch on, check
2. Log in, check
3. Start test session, check
4. Pedal faster, does resistance go up, check
5. Go uphill, does it get harder, check
6. Go downhill does it sort of get easier, check
7. Finish test session, does session upload, check
8. Log out, check
9. Test completed,check
10. Distribute new F/W
11. Give yourself a good pat on the back.

PS:
Cav gets Silver, and almost takes out Vivianni
Trott does what she does best and wins again! 2 out of 2 won 4 to go.

It was 4-5 months after I clearly demonstrated the problems from the previous problems of extremely slow acceleration from standstill or slow speed.

This latest software is going on the right direction, very realistic to road riding. There are problems, I have seen are

1.Decline/incline speed crash
2.Sluggish start - kickr
3.Disparity between Bkool pro and non Bkool trainers
4.Older Bkool trainers unable to upgrade and benefit from speed transistions
