Well fellow weight competitors I've just caught up on that league. The Shelf is where I should have left my kit . That hurt today but I think I may come to regret it once Geoff gets sight of it .

I also had a go at the next Chaingang sprint stage. I've left a time for you all to pummel into the ground :boxing:.

Ok off for some rest and recouperation :mrpig:.

Yep, I'm in the puncture on Bkool club too - although mine was more of a spectacularly loud blowout!

AAAC was in a different league to me - as usual! Thanks for waiting for me and giving me a bit of a tow though AAAC - if you're wondering where I went at one point, my front wheel is raised on a book and I noticed it had slipped and was about to fall off so had to stop and re-position it before disaster struck!

Either way, despite the bit of drafting with AAAC I was way off my pace from Thursday - may have had something to do with the couple of beers I had with lunch - who knows?!

Bridgy - Once I got to Bob my plan was to work with him to see if we drag you back but my connection dropped off I unintentionally left him too far behind, Sorry Bob, so my second plan was to try and catch you and help to better your time. I though we had it in the bag when I realised I started 2 minutes later than you so we weren't actually doing as well as I thought so when you lost my wheel I just went for a decent time for the League.
Unfortunately for you guys I am still slinging up hills and sometimes it hard to control which is why I have concentrated on the Summer League where I can flaunt my advantages outside of our community just to find others have found other loopholes somehow (other than being fecking quick anyway).
Good news is I just got a good bonus on Friday so a new Pro is on the cards when I come back of my hols in October so I can race with you all with 'parity' through the winter months but I am going to stick with my old Pro until the summer league finishes

I noticed that AAAC - you disappeared off the leaderboard when you were about a minute and half behind me I think - then reappeared just a few seconds behind me!

It was about 30 and we were heading for the hill up and around the Arc de Triomphe, again.
That is a real strength sapper that course so I was happy to back of and wait for you once I caught up.

PS: I was only 24 seconds slower than my Summer League time so I may have been able to best that if I had just kept going.
Perhaps starting late is a good tactic where drafting isn't a huge advantage!

PS2: Mind you that might have really miffed me to be the Summer League time out of the league!

PS3: Just thought, bonus!, could get me a carbon disc wheel so I can go whoomf, whoomf!

No worries AAC, I was 50 watts down on the other night with nothing in the tank. Slowing down to rest and wait for you didn't work either. You were frigging strong. Sorry I could not stay with you

Well, Pep Tatche has put himself on top of the GC in the Summer Cup and has knocked me down to third but I'll take that as in the following stages he:
1. On/off'd
2. On/off'd
3. Beat me fair and square
4. Had some excessive power & speed data point flats (turbo malfunction)
5. More data point flats
6. More data point flats
7. Beat me fair and square
But I am happy with my lot but I just Iike to moan!

Yup, me too :banghead:

When mine went I thought the bits that flew of had broken the window behind me as they hit it with such force, it was a mega blow out.
I've no doubt that a tyre that starts a turbo session at 140 psi is a bit above that when the race is on (with PVT being a constant).

Randy being the inquisitive type I looked at your wife's website and also read a little about baranof island. Seems like you live in a magical place. For someone who lives in an industrialised smog pot like me it's obviously quite a contrast.

Which prompted me to have a look too
Stunning photo's and natural beauty. The bears are great too, but I'd want a pretty long and steep downhill if one came after me while out on my bike.

edit: Or for there to be at least one slower rider in the group ;)
