I was expecting to see that too but couldn't see it. Will try and do a dummy run tomorrow as I quite fancy my new time in the league until you guys overtake me again.

@Whorty you just need to click the little blue "copy" button from the league stage results page. That will put the ride in your Leagues tab.
I only just learned that myself and it's very useful.

Apologies for missing rides over the past two weeks, in the middle of a crazy period at work.

As a "yellow belly" born and bred I'm loving the Lincoln chat.
@Goldwolfie you would have gone almost through my childhood village of Reepham, between Cherry Willingham and Fiskerton a few miles after Lincoln

Soarer. You could of gone up and down Cross O Cliff hill(spelling) to waddington:smile:
Don't forget the hills around Navenby and Leadenham. I know there not mega long but certainly a workout if you go for it
Live very close to Leadenham, if you go right to the bottom it is actually a cat 4 hill on Strava, not many of them round these here parts.

Blimey we are going to need a Yellowbelly sub category if any more turn up!

@berty bassett - Apologies for the delay but this was the way I went, avoiding the major roads and using off road sections where possible. Fledborough to Lincoln avoids the busy A57 crossing of the River Trent, and there is a great paved cycle way that runs alongside the River Witham from Lincoln to near Woodhall Spa. From there is the the back roads across the Fens - long straight quiet roads, and as you say, with no protection from the winds. As you can see after the first 30 miles it was pretty flat, mind there were a couple of hump backed bridges over the dykes in the last 30 miles.
i went up between Sleaford and Boston then bumped into your route - but only did it on a windless day ! you have to be made of tough stuff to ride the flat bits in a wind !

So I finally uploaded the video from one of my local climbs. It's not the best video of the ride, largely because of the sheer amount of traffic (Oktoberfest at Snowbird had the road packed with cars/people). But it served its purpose of being a test of the whole process.

What I found particularly interesting is the difference in grades of the ride uploaded via the bkool ride editor vs one imported via their website. The former seem way more accurate -- it's still the case that a particular gradient is held for longer times than what we see in Zwift, but the gradients are much more closely matched to the known terrain than the ride created this time last year from a .fit/.gpx file of the same ride (recorded with the same unit).

Cheers Jim  I had a tactic.............

I could see that you and @Randyberlin were working together so I waited until 2 ghosts came together and worked out it was you two. I was 47 seconds ahead (2 laps). This was about lap 80. I stayed with you both for about 20 laps then took another breather. I knew each lap lead was about 23 seconds so I trundled round, gaining some energy back, until your two ghost came to me again. This was about lap 105 so all I had to do now was hang on to your coat tails for 15 laps. Not easy as you both seemed to be ramping up the pace but I just managed it

Well I can't speak for Goldwolfie or Randyberlin but I feel dirty, soiled... unclean...

Once I figure out how to reload the trip with ghosts, well... you'll see..

From the article:

"The Smart Go has a maximum simulation resistance of up to 8%, which is in the ballpark of others in this price range. However, in order to compensate for the occasional resistance levels beyond that, they’ll actually compensate by slightly slowing the videos down (within their own apps). Thus creating the effect of having to work harder to compensate for the trainer being unable to punish you properly."

Oh I can see that working well in league rides....NOT!!

By the way, is anyone else having problems adding ghosts? I re-did "Neighbourhood Cruise" last night and tried challenging myself and adding a few ghosts, but it would only allow me to include the ghost of the person I challenged - trying to add any others crashed the website every time?

(Buried myself trying to improve my time and ended up....5 seconds slower :headshake:)

Were you trying to beat my time?;)

bluetooth smart is interesting and credit for apparently trying to slow riders down above 8% but given the vagaries with the software i will believe it when i see it. Then again, perhaps this is what the impending software update is meant to address.

Of course I was trying to beat your time Bob! Or at least get a bit closer to you, Bill, AAAC and LBHIFI if I could (turns out I couldn't!).

Looks like I need to work on my stamina - which doesn't bode well for the next stage either which is another 50 ish minute stage...I can't even moan about the next one either as I suggested it!
