Good to have you on board - the next Sep-Oct Chaingang league event is tomorrow night at 7pm, a 20 mile pretty flat jobber, so there will be plenty of opportunity for drafting with someone of your own ability.

Good to have you on board - the next Sep-Oct Chaingang league event is tomorrow night at 7pm, a 20 mile pretty flat jobber, so there will be plenty of opportunity for drafting with someone of your own ability.

Working until 7pm tomorrow so I will miss the league run.
Off to the Flics Saturday pm so I may miss the re-run as well.

I have a feeling that my new turbo may knock me back a peg or two but I am looking forward to some good head to head racing.
I may have to keep the old PCB complete with dated FW and bring it out especially for the Summer Cup next year.

Oh no, just realised - no more "dodgy equipment" excuses for AAAC thrashing us

But bang goes my budget for some Coilovers for the Mini.
I probably won't be slamming it this year now unless I convince HID to buy me some for Christmas.
Mind you I might be well surprised when I open the box having sent her Majesty out to buy Coilovers.
Last time I mentioned them she commented why on earth we needed those at my age, especially as I had the snip 25 years ago.

Is anyone open to the Thursday run starting regularly at 7-30pm after tomorrow? I rarely get out of work before 6 so 7 is a struggle. You know me, I need my warm up too. I understand if 7pm is preferred but thought I would dip a toe ,..

Later suits me too Bob but like you I'm obviously happy to go with the majority. For me 7pm is my daughters bed time so it's a bit of a non starter.

Hi Guys

I have had a Bkool trainer for a few weeks now, upgrade from a tacX turbo
I love it but there doesn't seem to be a lot of people to race with. I am back in training for the next ironman so anyone to race with would be a great way to push on.
Any chance I could join you guys or your league or is it just because you all know each other?
Give me a shout if I can join up.
I am Active 2 on the bike and amateur 8 on running.

Bill I am reluctant to do this. The races are more fun the greater the number of participants especially when we start the team handicap rides. I know this was aired before and the consensus was 7pm was a good time for the majority of us but I somewhat selfishly wondered if it still was
