LIVING THE DREAM
Geoff, how frustrating.

Does anyone fancy another go at the training loop with me?

Bob, my number one drafting choice!
When I did this session on Sunday I was 15 seconds ahead of you going into the first climb and then you flew past at the top, then I went past you and you went past me and so on.
I managed to get away from you on the long flat when I would be 27 seconds ahead then 15 then 27 then 15 then 27 then 11 until larger climb near 2/3 through when you came past me again. Then I went past you and then you cam past me and so on until the final flat be when I managed to get 15 seconds on you again then 7 then 11 then 7 then 15 and so on until that 8% climb when I felt sure you would charge past me again. And all this was your ghost.
It was a killer but perhaps a bit of that was me being at 99kg.

Sorry Bob, I did this earlier this evening - should have said on here.

Not sure my weekend of excess alcohol and too little sleep was the perfect preparation as it felt harder and I was 2 minutes slower!

Just completed stage 5 after updating the firmware to v3.10 and what a difference that has made. So much tougher now. Speed down, watts down, no coasting on the flats any more, it slows down so quickly and definitely no more favourable blue numbers. Feels like my fitness has dropped but I'm sure it hasn't. Oh well I suppose it's the same for everyone judging by what everyone's said on here - just gonna be a whole lot tougher from now on. :heat::sweat::banghead::wacko:

How is inclines with new firmware?

AAAC, at 58.5kilos I am not surprised I flew past you on the hills and was overhauled on the downs. Cracking time by you.
I am kind of dreading doing it again at my real weight and was going to give it a go tonight but an offer of a pint got the better of me:whistle:

Oh no!! I hope he doesn't throw his Bkool trainer out in disgust when he sees he's nearly an hour behind the next rider!
It is starting to dawn on me that we weren't suppose to do all Madeleine :-)

But it is getting dark and cold in Norway, so I'll be more active on the Bkool the next 6 months. I have signed up for a bike ride from Oslo to Paris (1700 km) in 9 days next year to watch the last day of TdF, so I'd better continue the training.

So 120 rounds in the velodrome and then 30 seconds on the Madeleine it is...
