Ha! I got a message saying you were 42s faster.
Sorry Bob I'm talking nonsense (no change there then!) - it seems I HAVE beaten you by 42 seconds on the neighbourhood cruise stage! I must have been looking at the league before it was updated with my new time when I said you were still ahead of me

As you're probably starting to realise I completely lost track of which ghosts were ahead or behind me at the end of that stage!

I am heartened by the effort that a youngish and physically fit specimen like you has to put into beating little old me;)

edited for accuracy ^_^

Well I haven't been called "young" in a very long time - I like it though!

And yes, I do have to put a LOT of effort into beating you! It took me a long time to catch up to you in the races initially, then I had got used to being ahead of you for a while until your recent resurgence! Looking at recent results I think there's a few of us quite closely matched, and biting at the heels of Bill, LBHIFI and AAAC - it should be a very competitive winter of Bkooling!

I am sure it will be but biting at their heels only makes them faster! I know that is the nature of competition but short of reducing ones weight  their seems to be little prospect of being able to rein the buggers in despite all the :training:

MisQuoting Mr Green

You only get faster by racing a faster opponent :surrender:

Tonight's Chaingang Race is called Saler-Cullera
Start time is as usual 7pm with 10 minute warmup. No password.

Bob, you can set off when the countdown is 3 minutes to go (as promised) ^_^

Another suggestion for the Goats

Colle delle Finestre
http://www.bkool.com/profile/detail/125094?durationType=DISTANCE&lapCount=1

Just been watching it on the Bike channel :B):surrender:

Avg 9%, max 14%, 1.1mile of vertical and painful legs

This is an old favourite of the Mountain Goats. Possibly just before your time TB. I think we've run it twice perhaps.

Anyone remember colle del moncenisio?

I might not be able to join in live ride, picking kids up from party@6.30. So will have to fit it sometime tomorrow. I will watch part way through if I get chance to slope off early

And have you nipping at my heels? No bleeding way Bill. My warm up will have to be the race that is my commute and which finishes with the fiercely steep Col D'Tulse Hill and then straight up to the loft to catch the start. I,ll try and stay with you for as long as possible bit i have very tired legs. I had the pleasure of being caught up in a race with a female cyclist much of the way home last night. She claimed a strava QOM reflecting the effort. Me, just very sore legs:rolleyes:
