I will be there but genuinely not sure for how long. Currently warming up in velodrome and struggling to turn a big gear. I think it is me but also noticed after a sprint to 55kmh it only took 5 seconds for my speed to collapse to 18kmh. this speed collapse just seems wrong especially in the veldrome.
You weren't you on a track bike and stopped pedaling did you ;)

I decided to use this session to level things up. It was the right decision as I experienced the super power for some of the session. I had calculated that Bridgy would have an avg. speed at about 49.5kph at the foot of the hill, so I tried to deliver you guys at that speed, and then the plan was to try and fall 2:44 back at the ascend. That was actually pretty hard, but 2:20 was not far from.

I was watching at the end and I wondered what was "wrong" going up the hill, as your watts and speed were well below what I was expecting. That's very sporting of you

LB. Thanks for towing me to the hill. I was still suffering after my earlier rides of the week so I wasn't strong enough to take my turn in the front as you were just too quick for me. What happened in the end though was not in the script. I was expecting you would leave me for dead on that hill and I wasn't even going to try staying with you. Did you have a problem or were you just tired out?

Ahh, I thought you had a mechanical again LB and felt really bad passing you. That's is really good of you.

Apart from that you and I had the same thought, that we had to get to the hill at about 50kmh for a sub 49minute time but I unclipped again on the ridiculous sprint I did at the half way point:rolleyes: that will learn me. Nearly came off the bike and took a while to get going again and in fact nearly gave up but glad I stuck at it.

Well done bill, not far off bridgy's time now.

Not so much of a beginner here but I am one of the mooses/mammoths here. There are all levels here from me to the rockets like LB, Bill S, bob, bridgy and AAAC. Join the leagues as a challenge. Currently 2 running Chaingang and Goats. Always emjoy the sessions

Top tip is to join us on the chaingang rides, doesn't matter if you are at the back or 20 minutes down it's a great motivater and the quickest way to get your fitness up, dont join the goats league as that will put you off for life ^_^.

You kicked my butt today. It kept getting harder to keep up and it took another 5 miles to figure out the rear tire was slowly going flat.

Well done yourself Bob! I didn't think I'd be able to stay with you two tonight but as LB's plan was to help out and get us to the hill, that explains why I was able to. You seemed strong even though you had a slow start but you were soon putting in those sprints that probably tired you out. I'm guessing if you just sat on LB's tail as I did, we'd have had a bit of a fight at the end, which is where you were stronger as you ate into my advantage.

I had technical issues joined 7 minutes late and no time for a warm up, found my self catching @Randyberlin powering up every little hump and bump making good progress then the next hump i powered up i was at 400 watts and 31mph over the hump slowed slightly still 400 watts stopped peddling still 400 watts ffs:cursing: then disconnected.

Generally been a s@#$ afternoon so rest day tomorrow :cuppa:.
