O crap. Title gone  Bill Rick and LBH all working well from the start. Bridgy you seem to start slow, missed the drafting the front 3 had . I then had to leave as you were making the climb. I knew at that point you were going much faster than I did and were on for a great time. I'll have another go once I get back and see if I can join in on the draft. Well done everyone who God dammit beat my time

And looks like someone hasn't just been sitting on the couch drinking beer since we last saw him.

Well done JonBon on your 3rd place :bravo:

I did the handicap stage tonight and was getting frustrated at being left for dead on the long descent as I was unable to go any faster. I then remembered it was a handicap and you all set off at different times doing it live:blush::blush:

I did the stage in 43.32

Pico Penas, I hope I spelled that rite. I'm sure that's the session that left me having my last (most recent) angina flutter when we did this not long after I joined cyclechat.

Thanks Geoff - how did it finish on the road? Hard to keep track during the race

Sorry @bridgy it's taken me a few days to catch up and take a look at the Handicaps but these are the "corrected" times taking the Handicaps into account, along with the difference from previous best times...

Big Improvement for Rob, and also improvements for Berty and Insomnia.

@gbrown - I'm not sure how I appeared in the list of finishers as I've been out in North Cyprus on my hols for the last 9 days and I didn't bring my turbo with me - Mrs GW put her foot down on that one, and said I could do a few lengths in the pool to keep my fitness up - it's been a real struggle

I'm back tomorrow and it looks like I'll have a bit of catching up to do. Not sure where to start but it definitely won't be the Goats League.

I'll probably start with the Handicap run to post a time to try and secure my place on the autobus with TB, Whorty and AAAC who will definitely smarten us up.

That sounds interesting Andy. I assume with their new trainer bkool must be about to release a software update. May be best to wait and see on how that impacts on how the kickr performs in bkool? May level the riding field. Pm me when you return.

Thanks Bill, the wife would probably dispute the not sitting on the couch bit  ... but i have just come back from 2 weeks cycling in Mallorca

For some reason I didn't see Rick or Bridgy at all in the race (not even in the time gaps) yet in the results they finished just seconds behind me :scratch:Glad I din't slow up even more before the finish :heat:

Got my age group record, so happy days! Look forward to more rides in the coming months :okay:

Death march is about all I can say about that climb... I was tired halfway, exhausted at the 3/4 mark and just trying to survive the rest so that I wouldn't have to do it again.
What time did you do? Not on computer so can't see the bkool leagues.

And well done for finishing - it's definitely not a ride to start then bail halfway up only to have to do it again!

I couldn't see you either - or anyone else for that matter. Shame, as looking at the time gaps it would have been a good race had we known each other were there!! Good ride by the way - that Majorca training camp's obviously hasn't done you any harm!

Ooops, sorry @Goldwolfie, a bit of finger trouble, that should have been Martyn (@Perky77)!
