Fool me twice and I'm a 'kin Idiot :surrender:

@Breedon the harbinger of doom, no luck required just dodgy fw :giggle:

We'll this mammoth has learnt his lesson. He prefers the Descenso versions of the 'Be Afraid' league. 2hrs up, 15 minutes down and I beat myself by 3 seconds :secret:.

@Whorty I was ok until about 9 miles, then I had to make use of my fw advantage . But by heck that was mad. Glad I did not do a seperate warm-up or I'd still be on the bike going up hill now

Rest and an adult recovery drink I think ;)

1 hrs 55 at 1.6 watts per kilo ... impressive ;) Clearly the superpower helps you, but you still had to peddle for nearly 2 hours :okay:

That's a bit rude calling him by his sir name... what's matter with Gorgeous? :girldance:

Welcome Gorgeous..:welcome:

And I thought his sir name was Scott, probably works in the engine room so he will be handy for some BKool Warp Speed.

Cheers all, will attempt to join in on Thursday.

Just gotta figure out how it works :-)
:welcome: to our humble home and :welcome: to the pain and suffering your about to endure .
The software can be some what annoying even for those who have used it for a few years.
If you cant make Thursdays at 7pm there's another rerun on Saturdays at 5pm if you can make both that's great.
There's also the Mountain Goats league these are extremely hilly courses so only join these if you like hills the goal for these are to finish, there that extreme.
All most forgot there's the handicap league i haven't done one yet but im sure some one can explain it better than me.

Just sit on the saddle, feet on the pedals and push, one leg at a time.
After a while you can try pulling on the upstroke but that's almost like multi tasking and so not for beginers.

Good thing is no hands are required, accept for changing gear which we can cover once you get moving forwards.
In the mean time feel free to use your hands to eat things like burgers and for drinking beer (if you want t keep up with us all physically).
You'll soon be at the top of the rankings following my helpful guide.
Don't thank me as I do this for all the newbies.

PS: Work tomorrow you lot so bed early tonight.
I'll look after the wine and whiskey for you all until next weekend.
Work, mine involves day 1 of a 2 day conference for IT Managers in Milton Keynes. I know how to roll......

Any recommendations for local whiskeys? I collect them so like to know what whiskeys exist. The next ones I'm looking to get are Swedish.
