I am looking at either the 95 miles or 60 miler. Who is interested in those distances? Also would anyone fancy meeting up Saturday for an evening meal at a local venue( don't want to presume Adam would want to put up with all us) , like a cyclechat gathering:hello: Faces to names^_^

Running campagnolo Veloce which is 10 speed, max range of derailleur is 29t, they have just released Potenza groupset which can go to 32 (maybe 34), but that is 11 speed. I'll have to improve my climbing technique instead.

My ultegra is only 10 speed kipster. Maybe 32t isn't an option for me either.

new bsim available

Loaded it and can't see what has changed.
I can't see that any of the things most have pointed out are fixed however I had noted that they had knocked a little over 10 years off of my age.

Weighed myself in the buff this morning, even took off the pink tee shirt, and I was not even 74 kg so I lost a whole 2 kg on Hols eating 5 meals a day.

Must have been all of the extra curricular activity (In my dreams).

Tommy there are 32 and 34 t cass in 10 speed. I fitted one to a short cage Shimano derailleur, he couldn't cross chain but gear changes were clean

Kipster Campag, cycling weirdo:smile: I don't know anything about campag
i run campag and i believe veloce only goes up to 29 but miche is compatible and i think it goes up to 31 .I got a miche cassette but only robbed a couple of the rings to replace the dearer campag and everything seems to work ok so far

I run a Shimano 10 Spd with a 52/34 C/S and a 11-32 Cassette. I can't run the 11 on the 32 as it catches on the 52 or even 50 but I have a medium cage.
Changing up to the 52 from the 34 can be a pain if you are on the rivet and don't ease off but with the 52 11-32 I find I am spending much less time on the 34.

@BILL S I'm afraid I'm off visiting family tomorrow evening, please could you start the Handicap for me?

Thanks,

Geoff

No problem Geoff. I'll start the ride at 7:50 with a 10 minute warm-up.

However, I have no idea if it's going to be possible for everyone to jump in to the ride as with the previous version sim. Anyone know if we still get an option to join with a box that opens with a countdown and a click "No" to start from the beginning?

We would have to wear sticky labels with our bkool names other wise we wouldn't know who is who.

The 60 is what I will be looking at. I did 30 where I live and it took 2 and 3/4 hours . I think I am improving cycling wise but not as quick as I need to to do the longer distances :headshake:. I need to lose weight and increase power :bicycle:.

i will join for a bit but not long. Seems a weekend of cake, alcohol and a cracking thai takeaway have taken a toll on my very sore belly^_^ All worth it though:okay:
Breedon,
sorry about Ventoux but i dont think i can sit in a saddle for that long!
