I think Adams monster hill climb has crashed the bkool site. Anyone else having trouble logging on? I started late, and after the race jumped off the bike and legged it out the door, so haven't had a chance to see the standings.
I wasn't able to get in earlier.

@bobinski I agree with Adam about not recommending speedy recovery to Bridgy. Are you trying to ruin Soarerv8?

I was able to get to Bkool by clicking on the "you've been beaten by Breedon" email link.

Hi Stuart. I just saw Geoff's response so looked for your ride under rides to be validated and there's no sign of it. If you know your time and you can put in a short (20 seconds is enough) league ride of the same and save it I can make the time up to match your actual time. Just let me know on here what the time should be and when you've done the dummy run.
Hi Bill, have made a short attempt at Bristol / City of Bristol / England / United Kingdom and have a previous time of 51:38 could you please validate the ride.

Thanks

Stuart

Hi Stuart. You need to do the ride from the leagues tab. This one is not showing either so maybe what you could do is challenge someone from the results, find the ride under Leagues in the sim, then put in your short dummy run. Hopefully then it'll show up.
If you have definitely done the ride from the leagues tab then probably you'll need to contact info@bkool.com and ask them what is going on.

Took at stab at the FTP test on Bkool yesterday afternoon but it didn't work right. During the whole ride it never showed me anything on the screen. I figured I'd ride the 20 minutes and see what happens and it did register that I went 20 minutes and ended the ride. Then I couldn't get out of session. All I saw was the blue cloudy mountain scene. Had to close out of Bkool which is probably why it didn't save. But shouldn't I be seeing some numbers or something while I'm riding? My laptop is older but I don't have too much issue doing normal sessions with the graphics turned down.

Sounded like Bkool crashed. You can also get a ftp figure by riding up a steep hill (mont ventoux) for 30 mins. You don't need to complete the ride just more than 30mins, then save.

My personal favourite is a 30 minute heart pounding, attack of Alpe d'Huez! But yes you should see all the normal display figures during an FTP test. Well, I must admit I haven't done one since Bkool released their new and unimproved, bug infested Simulator version.

On goat 3 yesterday I was so tempted to bail after 30 mins. My Ave watts were 274 which would have been a record for me. But then I had Monte's ghost on my tail and I couldn't let him beat me

could you see if you can see others times please , the slider on the left saying results is stuck om 0 mins and therefore i cannot see anyones times at all meaning no ghosts - am i missing something easy ? i just cant move slider and i am getting nowhere with the emails
their answer so far was to go into sessions and there it is easy to edit a ride !
my email must have lost something in translation - the one sent in reply was blunter

I cant move the timer slider on random picked routes, but can on previous rides I have done. I tried featured routes and the time slider works. It must mean no ghosts, no one has ridden it, so cant adjust slider, makes sense.

Are you sure the rides where you can't find ghosts or move the slider do actually have previous attempts by other riders on them?

The first couple of rides I clicked on "setup" in Sessions were as you described, but if you click on the ride name, those ones had Users: 0 and Attempts: 0 - so no ghosts to add anyway.

If I then found a ride I've definitely done before, or put some filters in place and chose video rides and sorted by popularity so that they were rides definitely done by many people, all the available ghosts were showing as normal.

Can you link to a ride where you're having this problem and I'll see how it looks at my end if you like?

It seems like any ride I choose but I will try another when the laptop is back in life as its out of battery at min Thanks for that
I click the 3D box all the time so I would have thought it was a ride at least one person has rode ?

In my effort to identify issues I'm having with timings, I did the goat 3 ride tonight and set Whorty's ghost as the only other rider. I was unable to stay with him and recorded a time that was 2'49'' slower. When I saved my ride after short cool down, it said I achieved a time of 46'31, and therefore correlates with Whorty's time of 43'42. However, when I now look at the time in My Activity, it shows I took 49'30" for the ride!! I did the chaingang 3 without any ghosts on Saturday and the actual time was correctly reflected in My Activity. It seems that something goes awry when I cycle with other riders/ghosts, as it's been commented on that my sim is very erratic. Bkool help info not assisting so far. Frustrated.....
