Well done Lars - back in your rightful place - ahead of me! :okay:

That's a huge improvement - appreciate you may have put extra effort in as well but it does highlight what a difference the tyre can make too.

Happy to ride with you today Jim. I need to do a ride, but want to save something in my legs for Goat 4 tomorrow - I have 2 mins to make up on the Goat league off @Monte

That remains to be seen!

My previous experience with turbo trainers amount to desultory dabblings. I'm intending to get into it more seriously over this winter.
With this bunch of degenerates nothing gets taken seriously until the third beep :bicycle:

Yes, sorry I'm at a birthday party this evening, so can't be there for the rerun. So I thought I would switch the tire and tube from my race bike to my BKool bike, and have a go at the chaingang stage this afternoon.
Pretty much the same effort as last time, although I little more hard earned this time, but a world of difference in the mysterious universe of Bkool.
The race tire is a worn down Conti GP4000 S 23mm and the tube is a Michelin Aircomp latex.

I'm going in opposite direction. Conti gp to ultra. Hopefully it doesn't have a negative effect.

I'm gonna be there at 5pm - taking it easy though as my legs now ache after doing it two days on the trot!

Who's starting the ride, will it be you @BILL S?

Stick with Jim and myself at the back and it'll take about 1hr 10 mins. Unless you're feeling really strong, whatever you do don't go flying off the start and trying to keep up with @bridgy who will be finishing it an about 47 mins :heat: So it'll likely take anywhere between 47 and 70 minutes :okay:
