Considering the watts I hammered out in the last 20 seconds you must have been flying considering you caught up! That was Fun with a capital F! ^_^
Won't keep the tyre change though, hit 11% and the thing just span out continually until gradient dropped! I had t slam the accelerator to catch up!

I wondered what happened when @bridgy got away, I caught a bot on the recording, it looked like your cadence when crazy and the speed dropped away, exactly like wheel spinning a rear wheel drive car!

I think I hit a few more sprinting in at the end!

I'll say.. it's the 147 rpm that gets me, I'm maxed at around 120 rpm!

Edit: they've not really left enough room for 4 figure watts!

Take a look at the Start recording, at 8:10 into the recording I spotted that you were having a problem and switched to you, it looks pretty strange! This must be the tyre slipping, I wondered if your chain had come off!

Race adjudicator is requested, whilst diverting attention from failed cunning plan:ohmy:

Neighbour lit his fire and I couldn't see the course for smoke and oxygen levels plummeted. I need 2 mins knocking off my time please :hello:

Real reason, overcooked it thinking I could out power daddy pig, Bridgy and AAAC. It took far longer to recover than I thought. Eventually I manage to break Bob's Toe(tow) and got away. Shame I didnt hold back a little and stay with Bill.

Tough course:heat:

Quick question -- how tight does everyone tighten the the clamp that holds the bike into the bkool unit ?

Just so it clamps or tightened up enough that makes it hard to undo again ?
As tight as I can @Monte. I works loose during a ride - particularly if it's a hard one - so I have to re-tighten it before each ride

So was your failed "cunning plan" just: "out-power Daddy Pig, Bridgy and AAAC without over-cooking it"?

Kiss Keep it simple stupid

Nothing better than thinking you can beat everyone
Haha! That's ALWAYS my plan - nothing cunning about it though, and rarely successful!

For full disclosure of why I may have to drop out of the ride tonight before the end ... i finished off a carton of St Elilllion, a bottle of Shiraz and a whole bottle of chocolate Baileys last night. Today I had to have egg and bacon sandwiches to soak up last nights alcohol. I still feel as xx( as a :mrpig: Hope HID leaves a clear path between the turbo and the bog, as I may need to get there fast

I wasn't quite as bad as that, had a bottle of Shiraz and a few glasses of Sloe Gin so I was a bit raged today as well all be it the ride sorted me out.

There were times when I wanted to drop out especially when my internet connection dropped out but having Bill there with me kept me going.

Sorry for leaving you behind Bob, I was going to try and take you up to Bill but you didn't seem to want to take the tow.

Whorty,
The only times I gained on you were with blue numbers on the downhill. So even with a hangover I needed team gravity to beat you. Now Kipster is demanding we go for the big weekend walk.
I knew I didn't have a race in me today so planned to stick with whoever I ended up with in the first few KM. That seemed to be @Jim Brown then he vanished (internet problems?) so I was then stuck between you and @Soarerv8 who has 2 minutes ahead. Didn't fancy the chase and you looked like you was having fun with Marius so I came back to do some drafting. Once we had a lead on Marius and I started to feel a bit xx( i dropped off and planned to hold Marius off you .... then we got to a 5% section and within 2 seconds he went from 10 seconds behind, to 30 seconds ahead!!! Can only assume he has a FW advantage. I may have to do that ride again when I feel less  You did well @Randyberlin :okay:

I didn't have any buildings on my ride to shield me from the wind, I'll have to turn my 3D quality up then perhaps I'll be quicker.
It was odd watching me race DP and Bridgy ahead of me.
I knew that if my ghost didn't catch DP by the top of the final hill he was going to beat me but 4 seconds isn't so bad considering it was my ghost.

And I knew I had to go up the last hill like a  to keep you behind me. I feel a bit bad as I feel that you probavly could have gone a lot faster in the last race and you won fair and square.

I had a phone call with 1m 3s to go from a client then had about 10 seconds before the start to get sorted.

I was in the middle trying to chase some interloper down, but there was to many down hill sections which lost me the advantage of the up hill which i was making time on but pleased over all as im where i normally am, but only 2 seconds behind Gregory in the table for stage 2 and about 1m 30s behind John18 i sense a rerun
