OK, did the winter stage 1 again and was about 5 seconds in the lead when I needed to get off and attach power cable to pc. Fortunately downhill so only lost about 5 seconds. I must have knocked the bkool power cable which must have stopped it working and lead to higher power than it should have had over the next section but then had to get off to reattach. It meant I still had about 5 second advantage.
I reckon that pep is easily beatable on this stage even without the gains or losses I had.
How in the heck are you dislodging your power lead? AAAC has had the same problem!

It is not good, on the lead or equipment, having the leads that tight that slight movement can cause a disconnection DAMHIK :cursing:.

The power connection has always been temperamental. I need to insert the cable and make sure its twisted a certain way to make the green light go on. Either a cable issue or a dodgy bit of soldering inside the device... I must have nudged it as I went around the back to find the laptop power cable!

I'm gonna be kicked out of the top 10 if it carries on like this. MinyanaGDO just popped in a great time, I suspect he drafted Bridgy and DP

When does the winter league update the main table? Quite looking forward to seeing lots of cyclechat names ^_^
I'm afraid the Winter cup stage 1 is just not my course. I think I'll be lucky to squeeze myself into top 20.

Get the faster rides around 15.30 and stay in the group. There should be plenty of riders to stay in the middle of. Power up just before the inclines start so you don't get dropped and if you do, just do a prolonged burst to catch up and shelter and stick with it. Get a few slower riders in there from the top 10 in case you get dropped.

Not Wishing to bump myself down a place or three, I think LBHifi could well post a great time using what DP suggests. I watched Bill use all the fast ghosts to to lead him out for a couple of miles then settle into drafting DP's slower ghost and blast home in the last mile.

I tried that tactic yesterday. Problem was I ended up ghosting with riders slower than me so within a few mins I was on my own. 4 others ended up beating me by a few seconds (one by a minute) but the other 20 riders got an email :becool: next time I need to choose my ghosts better and gain some drafting advantage.
