Had a hell of a time getting in today. Once it claimed the ride was unavailable, it kicked me out once, and another it hung. Each time (of course) the damn sim wants to log me out and log me back in. Ugh. Still thoroughly enjoyed the race. Didn't think I'd ever reel in Marino & Goldwolfie and kept expecting Goldwolfie to dig even deeper and pull me back in. I saw a blur through my sweat stung eyes presumably Daddy Pig and Bill flying by.

Well done all-looked like some fun tussles going on.

Pc woes. Windows update has killed itunes and seems to be playing with my usb connection too with the signal to my hrm and turbo flashing on and off alternately. Velodrome warm up very odd with a speed collapse from 60kph plus to less than 30 in less than a lap and perhaps signal problem explains? Good excuse to take it easy ^_^anyway, reboot and steady signal so all seems good-except itunes.

No Geoff, I started a bit later thinking I could stay with bill. Had a bit of it glitch, there was no profile graphics and my dot stayed at the start as did everyone else. I couldn't see the time difference through the sweat. When I hit the 6.8% I hit a brick wall and jarred my knee, from there it was an awful slog. Well done bill and Daddy Pig

Jlaw you made me work really hard to pass you after you overtook me on the crest

Had a notion of trying to stick with you a little while, but then looked at the next hill ahead and realized I'd probably blow up completely, so I backed off try try and recover a little for the expected push from Goldwolfie.

You still did a bloody good time, if you'd started on time you'd have been just a few seconds behind Daddy Pig, would have been an interesting finish!

Same for @JLaw, who would have been a close third.

I think you were right with me when you hit the brick wall Andy. I backed off slightly and wasn't affected nearly as badly as you . Also had the no profile graphics and dot problem which eventually reverted to normal after I pressed the up arrow.

Well done Daddy Pig, blasted past everyone, though Bill held on admirably for a long time!

No improvements, as I could only schedule the second version of Tin Can and I think it is slightly tougher.
I tried it myself yesterday and found it a little slower than the other version.
Either that, or the simulator improvements have added a little more realism!

I have just looked,is that a different course to last time, it doesn't look the same profile to me as my last outing in November?

Geoff explained it is different. Yes it is tougher, more climbs. Well pleased now after initially thinking I was much slower despite a hard effort.

Going out first was definitely a case of the hounds chasing the poor old fox and been torn to shreds.
The upside for me the incentive to improve for next time.
Well done all especially Daddy Greyhound.........:notworthy: I mean Pig

Well done @JLaw - you were too strong for me, and there was no chance I was going to catch you once you went past me.

I find working out your tactics on the hoof enjoyable but 8.5 miles at max chat doesn't get too tactical.
Cant believe he accepted that ride into the league! Most of the second half, the readings are flat-lining at silly Watts, speed and cadence. That just looks like when my Pro trainer went faulty. He needs to be told, Bill?!

It's no coincidence that this happened in the summer cup as well.
He could be turning his turbo off deliberately with a remote wireless adaptor controller like mine.
Wind your watts up switch off and hold until the stats freeze.
Funny that it never seems to happen when his watts are low!
Exactly why I said I am ignoring his results and will dual with Jacob, DP, Bridgy and any other proper contenders instead.

Apologies for not being there, DIY and an angry Prostrate so I didn't fancy sitting down tonight.
Have I used that one before?

Checks.........................Yep used them both, never mind!
I finished for Christmas today as well so I deserved a rest anyway.
