Kipster I expect it to behave very much like the kickr in performance on bkool more resistance for higher gradient, less smooth speed profile and just a little slower in pseed numbers. As you say it's the workout that really counts, enjoy

I'm doing a ride tomorrow morning that's around 35miles with under 1000 meters climbing. I should be going at a fairly sedate pace if anyone fancies an early morning spin.
Can't make tomorrow unfortunately off to planet x to spend some of my christmas money, enjoy though

JLaw, what can possibly be so important to keep you off the bike? Feed the need... I hope you don't lose any fitness, it would be awaful to have a little company at the back... :bicycle:

Sorry Tommy, I'm riding outside tomorrow, my wife needs to get to 800 miles for the year (only started in july). She has 20 to do to reach her target, and I've only been there for about 50 of the 780. Then up to Twickenham for some rugby in the afternoon.

No worries guys

I'm going to try and do a ride everyday so anyone's welcome to jump in when they feel like it. Tomorrow I'm starting around 7:30 @CXRAndy but maybe a little later most days.

@worty I'm not sure how long it'll take mate but I'll let you know tomorrow

Good luck with the wife tomorrow kipster. The weathers screaming out for outdoor rides at the moment but I'm still trying to protect my chest a little.

Just looked at your stats on that ride @Jim Brown and your HR is about 20 less than mine!!! Seems I was in the red most of that ride and you was cruising and had more left in the tank :surrender:

Eyup Whorty.. no.. not cruising - bad knees. I couldn't increase the watts without them exploding.. thus the lower HR.. I'm still working on tweaking set-up and hope to fix it in the next few days.. got a bloody cold now..

You keep abusing your body.. did you use the new shoes?

Real life ride Tommy? If so I can't but I will be on turbo in morning whilst Ms B goes swimming and my youngest is on the Xbox.

Technical question. From time to time in the bkool simulator I forget to "save" the ride I just did. Happened again today where I did 60km in the velodrome.

What I have noticed though:
1) On your start page where you see your own and friend's activity, the session I forgot to save is not there

2) But when I go to "trophies" etc it actually seems like it has added the 60km i did

Questions for you:
a) Is there a way to go back and get your session saved even if you forgot when you got off the bike ?

b) Am I fooling myself or is (2) above actually true ?

Thanks,
Bugno

PS: all of this obviously for my own ego's sake. My body is happy with the excercise but my ego wants to see the kilometers add up :bicycle:

Bkool Bob, I'm in hibernation mode!

I'm starting around 7:30, approx 35 miles. Profile looks hilly but it's only about 850m of climbing. You're welcome to join me, I'll just be trying to tick away the miles. I'll prob start later most days but got loads to do tomorrow.

@Jim Brown it's called, "Vejer de la Frontera / Cádiz / Andalucía / España". I can't put the link up partly because I'm on my phone but mostly because I'm crap ^_^

Whorty, how do you see this view of the stats please - what do I click on please?
Go on the ride from your history. On the map there are 5 icons on the rhs. Click the bottom one where it has two heads looking at each other. This will show yiu the info.

No, couldn't get the old pedals off. Need to take the bike to the local shop to get the old pedals off and new ones on. Hopefully tomorrow or Wednesday.

I'm like you, a bit of a cold at the moment so chest a bit tight. Breathing was laboured on that ride, but even so the legs were struggling so didn't have much more to give anyway. It's those 2-4% inclines, they just destroy my speed and watts; can't fathom it. I lose power on the small declines too which is strange - anything around 0.5 to 1% declines and it's like I'm cycling up hill - very bizare. :headshake:

If you get your knees sorted and you can increase the watts you'll destroy that course!
